Episode 4: Stolen Shadow

At home, Sunil informed everyone that he couldn’t make it today. He had to leave for a business trip with one of the clients, which meant the washing prayer would have to be postponed. Anushka was shocked and upset by the news.

“So, let’s just go, Mum,” Rhea said, tired of waiting. “I’m tired of staying here anyway.”

Anushka glared. “Good night, mother-in-law.” With that, she stormed off angrily, leaving Rhea faking a smile, clearly upset.

“You see that, Mum? She can’t even call you ‘Mum’,” Kaya said bitterly.

“She's trying to separate you from Uncle Sunil,” added Uncle Sunil.

“Enough from both of you,” Dilshad interrupted firmly. “Let’s just go.” Kaya left, feeling hurt and confused.

Later, at the dining table in the mansion, Aaina and her father, Raguveer, were enjoying lunch together, chatting and laughing. Suddenly, Amrita appeared, anger flashing in her eyes as she confronted Aaina.

“Is this how you treat my guest, Aaina?” Amrita demanded. “Why are you disrespecting everyone? Can’t you even respect my friend?” Aaina frowned and lowered her gaze.

Ragveer’s tone was sharp. “Are you done? Or do you want to continue hurting her feelings because of Rashi? Who’s Rushi? Who’s her father? Who’s her husband?”

“Please stop behaving like this!” Amrita snapped, but Raguveer stood up, furious.

“Stop bothering my daughter because of Rashi,” he warned.

Aaina spoke firmly, “Besides, Mum, she knows I’m not on her level to even greet her properly.” Amrita’s anger grew, and she stormed off.

“Don’t worry, my dear,” Raguveer said softly, smiling as he hugged his daughter. “No one can bother you in this world—not even her.”

“I love you, Daddy,” Aaina said, her voice soft as she left the room, leaving him smiling behind her.

That night, RK, Simmba, and Shiv waited in the shadows, prepared to attack Rakesh. They masked their faces and watched as his car approached.

“Get out now,” RK commanded in a cocky voice.

“Oh my God, please don’t hurt me,” Rakesh pleaded. “I’ll give you anything you want!”

Meanwhile, at the mansion, Sunil climbed through a ladder to knock on Anushka’s window. She was surprised when she opened it, frowning.

Nearby, Kaya paused by the door, having heard the noise.

Sunil spoke gently, “I know you’re angry.”

Anushka looked away, hesitant. “No... you want to go somewhere without telling me. I have to find out…From mother-in-law.

Anushka received a playful hug. “I was just trying to escape this washing prayer that Mom organized. That’s why I told her about the business trip,” he explained, glancing at Anushka, who looked surprised.

“What? That’s insane! So you set her up?” Kaya exclaimed, clearly shocked.

Sunil smiled, “Yes, so that we could go on our date.” They clapped their hands together in agreement.

“Dress up, let’s go! But I’ll go back through the window because of Kaya,” Sunil said with a smile.

“Yes, but be careful,” Anushka replied with a nod and a smile.

Later, after Rakesh was forced to lie on the road, his car was taken away. He felt shattered—his phone and important documents were inside the vehicle.

Inside the car, the group laughed as they removed their masks.

“Now, we repaint the car so no one can recognize it,” said RK.

Simmba added, “Now he’ll know who he slapped earlier,” but they didn’t notice the phone slipping down under the seats.

Shiv smirked, “I’ll see which car that useless girl enters now,” and they all laughed.

At Mandal House, Ashok returned home carrying two boxes of pizza. Mira came to greet him, and he greeted his mother warmly.

“One pizza is for Mom, and the other one we’ll share,” Ashok said.

Mira smiled. “Come on, brother, I want to eat this one alone.” She took a box to her room.

Ashok said gently, “Mom, I want you to eat this alone. Don’t worry about me.”

“No, son, we will eat together,” Sarita replied, nodding and sitting down. As he shared about his school day, they enjoyed their pizza together.

Meanwhile, Kaya was on the phone with Rhea, telling her about Sunil. Rhea was shocked by the news.
