jungkook isn't home yet. he did even come for dinner. did something happen? I can't sleep.

I was looking outside the window.

*click*

the sound of door opening.

I turned back

"j.ung....kook... "

his eyes were swollen. he cried?!

with a worried look I ran towards him and cuped his chin.

"baby what happened?! "

"......"

I lightly rubbed his eyes looking at their condition.

"baby, it's OK I'm with you " I said

jungkook leaned down and put his forehead on my shoulder.

" baby.... y... you won't leave me, right? " he said

he is crying?

I patted his shoulder " yes honey, I'll always be there with you. "

he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tight. I wrapped my arms around his neck and patted him as he cried.

"it's OK baby, everything's gonna be fine. " I assured him

he pulled his head and looked at me. his eyes were swollen, filled with tears and tears were on his cheeks.

that broke my heart. my hands moved to his face. my eyes blurred as I brushed his tears off his cheeks. with those blurry eyes I could see him smile. his hands rubbed the area under my eyes and my vision cleared. I could now see his face clearly. there was a painful smile on his face.

" don't cry my princess, I am not sad anymore and I won't cry " he said and pecked my forehead.

why is he so sweet? I am so happy to meet such a person.

he hugged me and patted the back of my head "let's go to sleep, shall we? "

"yes baby "

he picked me up and took me to the bed and then we went to sleep.

...*fastforward to y/n's birthday *...

...*author's Pov*...

y/n woke up but jungkook was not there. she got out of the bed and went to the bathroom. she took a shower, brushed, did her skincare, wore her outfit and went downstairs.

y/n was confused to see no-one downstairs. not even the maids.

that's strange. she thought

*BANG! BANG! *

"arghhhhhhh!!!!! "

that's jungkook's voice!. she thought and without a second thought, ran to the garden from where the voice was coming from.

her heart dropped as she saw two men holding guns and jungkook on the ground.

"V! J HOPE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! " she yelled at the two men and ran towards jungkook and held him hin his arms.

"jungkook! jungkook! wake up! wake up! "

"shouldn't you run? they might shot you as well" jungkook said

"shut up! will you! " y/n yelled.

y/n started crying.

jungkook's eyes widened.

" baby! this is paint ball! "

y/n stopped crying and touched the red colour on jungkook's chest. she realises that it was paint. she stood up in anger and jungkook's head hit the ground. jungkook didn't said anything but quickly stood up as he knew that y/n was damn angry.

"what the heck is this? " y/n demanded

"b-baby.... " jungkook shuttered as v and j hope stood behind him silent, sacred of y/n. " we wanted to do something exciting,....so we bought stuff for a match of paintball... and this V" jungkook hit v with his shoulder

"and I... I didn't know how to use it and accidently fired it on jungkook.... " V said

"we are sorry y/n!" they said in sync.

"what the hell do you want to do? !" y/n said, still angry.

"that" jungkook said and turned y/n's body towards the entrance of the garden.

"what the.... " y/n's jaw dropped as she saw Lisa granny and 10 other men with a huge a*s cake and huge a*s balloons spelling 'HAPPY BIRYHDAY Y/N" with unicorn and cake balloons.

jungkook hugged y/n from back "Happy Birthday to my prettiest sweetheart "

y/n turned back, her jaw still open " you knew? "

"why won't I?!! " jungkook said

y/n hugged jungkook tightly.

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DEAR Y/N, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! " Lisa, granny, V, jhope, suga, RM, Jimin and jin sang. y/n broke the hug and smiled at everyone with her back at jungkook.

"and this, is for you my lady" jungkook said

y/n turned to jungkook and saw him with a huge box in his hands. he slowly bend down to one knee as he opened the box. the lid opened completely and there was a cake.

her eyes widened as she looked at the cake. she raised her head up to look at jungkook but then noticed 4 girls behind him holding 4 boards saying - 'WILL', 'YOU', 'BECOME', 'MRS. JEON? '.

y/n's jaw dropped and she looked down at jungkook. he smiled and put the cake aside and pulled a small box out of is pocket. he opened the box.

he looked at y/n and said " will you marry me ? "

with her opened mouth, y/n jerked her head up and down. jungkook smiled and asked for her hand and she quickly gave him. jungkook slid the ring on her finger and kissed her hand. y/n covered her mouth with her free hand.

"whoooooohoooooooooo" everyone shouted and clapped.

red, pink and golden coloured balloons rose from around the garden.

*BOOM! shalala BOOM! shalala BOOM! shala*

firecrackers burst in the sky saying only 4 words - I LOVE YOU BEAUTIFUL

y/n looked at everything with tears of joy filling her eyes.

jungkook stood up and gently grabed y/n by her Waise and pulled her in. y/n looked at her. their eyes closed as they leaned closer to each other. their lips touched. they gently kissed each other and the other shouted but at that moment both y/n and jungkook couldn't hear anything. they were engrossed in the kiss.

they broke the kiss and looked at each other." I love you, my fiance ."

y/n blushed " I love you too baby"

"but when did you prepare all this? the cake... when did you take it? you were just behind me. I didn't hear anything. "

" I'm talented my lady " jungkook said and pecked her cheeks.

"let's cut the cake our lovely couple! " granny said

y/n cut the cake as everyone wished her and gave her presents.
