" Baobei, I'm off for work".

Gu baobei turned over on the bed as xinyi tap her gently.

" So early, the alarm hasn't rang yet". She stood up lazily.

" Yeah, this young miss doesn't want to leave a bad impression at work today". Xinyi said which cause her friend to chuckled.

" Ok, I won't see you off then. Good luck".

" Thank baobei ....  What do you think about my dress up today?"

" Fashionably elegant and sophisticated" she gave the thumbs up

" You really are a smooth talker."

Chen xinyi wore her shoes and stood up.

" Hey yiyi, don't forget to......"

"  Buy your favorite road snacks, buy your favorite milk tea, and buy groceries for hotpot tonight. I've got it memorized".

Baobei laughed " it is a good thing you memorized it.".

" I will get going then".

Lz corporation

" Good morning Mr Qin" Chen xinyi knocked on the door of the manager as she entered.

" You're miss chen, am I right"

The man push his glasses to the bridge of his nose for a closer look.

" Yes sir, I am reporting for duties". xinyi said

" Have a seat, I will attend to you shortly".

Xinyi sat down on the nearby seat. she took out her phone and did a quick search about the company.

It turns out that Lz corporation is an international company with it headquarters based in china.

The company is second to the largest automobile  technology company in the world and the best in china.

Also xinyi further learnt that this multinational corporation belongs to one of the great Aristocratic families in china, the Li family. But currently the corporation is managed by the youngest grandson of old Mr  Li . However this grandson is rumoured to be a rather mysterious person who is hardly seen in public and is very difficult to get along with. He keeps his appearance hidden so there wasn't a single photo of this person. However his name  is  Li Zhiyuan , the CEO of Lz corporation.

" Wow, that's a lot of information I never knew" xinyi  heaved as she finished reading the article about the corporation.

Shortly Mr Qin finished what he was doing and called her closer.

" Miss chen xinyi, I have gone through your portfolio and I think the HR department will be best. I'm the manager in charge of the department and Mrs Wang is my secretary, feel free to give your own suggestions."

" Thank you Mr Qin, I am okay with the post".

Mr Qin made a quick call to his secretary.

" Mrs Wang will be here shortly to take you for a tour and also tell you more about all you need to know."

" Ok, thanks.

During the tour, xinyi also learnt that each floor in the building has each department. So the whole floor thirteen belongs to the HR department.

Mrs Wang Lei also introduce her to the others colleagues in the HR department.  "Later, I will sent for you for further directives".

" Thanks Mrs Wang Lei".

Chen xinyi went back to her appointed cubicle.

The office is a nice open space, other HR staff too have their designated cubicle.

-Sigh " I can't believe I'm employed, how lucky of me". Chen xinyi checked around her space, on a table lied  new apple brand laptop, some documents, pen case and a sticky pad note. The table also have a drawer for storing thing. " Not bad" Chen xinyi nod her head.

She sat down and turn on the laptop. Since it's new, she needs to check out its feature and also set a password for confidentiality.

" Hi, are you the new HR staff?"

Chen xinyi raise her head at the question. The young lady smiled at her. She was leaning against her cubicle.

Xinyi returned the polite smile " yes, I'm Chen xinyi".

" Chu ye, but everyone calls me sister ye". She shook hands with xinyi.

" Sister ye, ok"

" I'm the senior staff here, so if you need anything feel free to come and meet me". She said

" Thanks" xinyi replied.

" You don't have much work for today so help me take this data analysis report to Mrs Wang Lei."

Xinyi collected the document and left.

" Sister ye, she is still new here. Allow her to get familiar with things here" another staff Bon Yan said.

" Don't worry, I know what I'm doing".

After coming back from Mrs Wang Lei office, xinyi received a call from baobei.

"  Yiyi, How did it go?"

" Just fine". Xinyi leaned on the swivel chair.

" When will you be coming back then".

" At the close of work. Why, and you death bored at home".

Baobei chuckled " you can say that again. I won't disturb your work anymore".

" Ok bye".

Chen xinyi pick up the documents Mrs Wang Lei gave her, saying it was brought in this morning and since she is less busy.

‘with such a big company, their pay will be high and she will be able to make up for the loan’ she thought inwardly.

It didn't take her much time to sort out the pile of documents.

"The work in HR department isn't much strenuous."

Chen xinyi stood up.

" Chen xinyi"

" Yeah" with the file in her hand, she turned to the source to the voice. It was the lady next to her cubicle, shi mei.

" You being working since, won't you take a break". She asked

Chen xinyi replied " Not really, only this one for today".

" Ok, I want to go and get coffee".

Speaking of coffee, xinyi  realized she is dehydrated and need something to cool down".

" Let go then".

" Can we exchange numbers on WeChat" shi mei asked. Chen xinyi didn't object to her request as she seems to be a friendly person and so far she has been the one occasionally talking to her, Since their cubicle is close.

Back in her apartment.

Chen xinyi flopped down on the couch.

" You are back" Baobei came over with two cup of water.

"Hmm" xinyi muttered as she gulp down the water.

Baobei sat down opposite her with her laptop.

" Did you buy the snack..."

" And the iced tea and hotpot ingredients. Yes I did". Xinyi remarked.

" Very good, you have me in mind". She grinned.

" Not anymore. My work first before you". Xinyi responded

" Shameless" Gu baobei smirk " you should be worrying more about the loan".

" I just recollect, I need your help". Xinyi said.

"Shoot "

" Hack into  Bai yang WeChat account, I need the contact details of that Man."

" What!!" Baobei looked shocked.

" It's not what you are thinking"  xinyi quickly added.

" Okay, but what makes you think I can do it?"

" Uh, isn't that what you do with your laptop every day".

Baobei sighed " for the umpteenth time, I'm not an hacker. I'm simply into computer coding"

" What's the difference?" She articulate.

" Fine, I will try". Baobei sigh

" Here your iced tea." She stood up with a grin and enter inside the room to change..

Later in the night

" Xinyi, are you still awake".

Disturbed by Baobei rough shook from her drowsiness, Chen xinyi stirred.

" Mmm, what's wrong".?

" Baobei chuckled from her cute pout. " Look at you, sleeping beauty. I'm done tracking the guy number" baobei said.

Still in her drowsy state, xinyi mumbled " which number?"

" Your prince charming contact details is already tracked". Baobei seems to shout into her ear.

" Really, you don't mean it". Xinyi sit ups on the bed. At once the drowsiness was over.

" Are you doubting my ability"?

Baobei puckered her face in an annoy manner.

" Do I dare " xinyi laugh jokingly and hug her " you are the best".  She whispered.

" Of course your best friend is the best".

Baobei beamed proudly.

And then xinyi suddenly froze and hit her head as if she just recollect something.

" Wait, what did you say?"

" Huh,  of Course your best friend is....". 

" No before that" she said.

Baobei looked astonished.

" Are you doubting my ability".

" Not that" xinyi shook her head.

" You said something provoking".

Hearing that, baobei knew what she was hitting at.

" Your prince charming..."

" Exactly" xinyi cut in.

" What's wrong with it".

" I don't like it"

Jokingly, baobei apologized to her.

After getting his contact, xinyi decided to initiate a chat with him tomorrow.

" I'm going off to bed, works start tomorrow again" xinyi yawned

" You are on the bed already" baobei said.

" Oh" she fell back on the bed into a slumber.

Next day

" Hey Chen xinyi".

Xinyi ran into shi mei at the gate and the latter waved at her.

" Good morning miss shi".

" You are early today".

They entered the office together

" Am I". Xinyi inquired.

Shi mei laughed and parted ways to her cubicle. Chen xinyi also greeted her others colleagues.

" Miss chen right". One of them asked. Xinyi nodded  " nice to meet you, I'm Bai Cai."

Xinyi exchanged pleasantries with her.

Works in  Lz corporation is always serious. Any form of laziness and non focus attitude display by any staff is never taken lightly. In most cases, such staff can be fired. This Chen xinyi knows because it was stated in the book of protocol.

And especially at the moment that the corporation was about to launch a new automobile gadgets. This will be one of a kind and the very first of all.

At this time, the company is very busy.

While working on a file, Chen xinyi received a telecom from the HRM assistant, Mrs Wang Lei. She stood up and went to her office.

A gentle knock and she entered

" Mrs Wang, you called for me".

" Yes sit down." Mrs Wang never looked up from her computer that she was working on.

Xinyi sat down gingerly opposite her. After a few minutes, she  closed the computer.

" I can only entrust you with this,  I need a data collation of departments and every staff in each department. Also a complete  recent information on the total staff in the corporation."

Huh, xinyi open her mouth wide.

" Is it too tacky for you?". Probably seeing the resolute look on her face, Mrs Wang asked.

" No, I will do it."

" This task is very important, remember there must be no errors in it.".

" Don't worry Mrs Wang, I won't let you down".

" Ok , will you be able to finish at the end of this week". Mrs Wang asked.

" I will try". She replied
