Episode 3 (Our Story)

-- Cafe Greenville at 9 pm --

After finishing working hours, Alex goes to Cafe Greenville to meet Wayne.

When he arrived there, he saw Wayne already waiting for him. He went to Wayne.

Alex: “Hey bud”

Wayne: “Oh hey, when you arrive? Have a sit.”

Alex: “Just here. Am I making you wait?”

Alex pulls the chair and sits.

Wayne: “Oh no, I came here early”

Alex: “Alright, so how about the things I already sent to you?

Wayne: “They likes it. We will contact you guys to discuss more details about that.”

Alex: “That’s cool.”

Wayne: “Ok, are we here right now to talk about work”

The waiter arrives at them and giving the menu.

Alex: “Ops, sorry slipped off, just want to hang out with you”

Wayne: “Bahahaha, it’s okay”

Alex: “Alright, so what is your future plan for the next life?”

Wayne: “Hahaha, that question was lit, seriously”

Wayne and Alex view the menu and order.

Wayne: "I want soda and fruit cake"

Waiter: "Alright, sir"

Alex: "Lemon tea and truffle, less sugar please"

Waiter: "Alright, we will serve you the menu later. Thank you"

Alex: “Hahaha, I am asking the correct question right. Hey come on, I already have a daughter now”

Wayne: “Okay, I envy you now. Hahaha”

The waiter comes to hand their menu request.

Wayne: “Oh yeah, just some random question for you. How’s your relationship with your mother? Is it alright now?”

Alex sips his drink and starts talking.

Alex: “Hmmm, too hard to explain.”

Wayne: “Hey, it’s already been 5 years, bud and she’s already gone.”

Alex: “I know that, but still I cannot accept what my mother has done to her. I don’t think I can forgive her and the same for me also. I don’t think I can forgive myself for what happened to her”

Wayne: “What about the baby?”

Alex: “When I think about that, it is really too hard to explain. I can’t think straight about that, they said it is impossible for the baby to survive in that explosion. But sometimes I lie to myself believing that the baby was still alive”

Alex: “It is really my fault. I should trust her more than anyone.”

Wayne: “Did they close the case already?”

Alex: “They decide to close it since can’t find the evidence at the accident”

Wayne: “We are living in the modern era, still police can’t find the evidence. Technology is more advance for them.”

Wayne: "Oh alright, sorry bud"

Alex: "Hey, tell me how you met her"

Wayne: "Who? Jane?"

Alex: "Who else your crush other than her..."

Wayne: "Hahahaha, alright just her"

Wayne: "Well, actually we met at the International Exhibition in Europe. Thank god! I did not skip that trip. Seriously...urghh"

Alex: "Hahahahaha, serve you right, but I will also think just like you if I met her first time and does not know about Daniel. Because she does not look like a married woman"

Wayne: "I saw Jane and Daniel at the exhibition"

Alex: "Then? What do you do?"

Wayne: "Well, you know President Lee, right. At that time, he's the boss of the company that I worked for now, but currently, his son holds that responsibility. He's the one that introduced me to Jane."

Alex: "The story becomes fun now"

They both laughed.

Wayne: "President Lee told me that Jane is staying in England before moving to her current living now to finish her study while taking care of her son"

Wayne: "So while exchanging our name and story, I asked her where is her husband. Then, suddenly President Lee stared at me. His expression at that time seems like wants to burn me alive."

Wayne: "I am thinking why he stares at me? Then, Jane realizes the awkward situation and tells me that she is a single mother with a smile on her face. Then I just feel like I already committed sins before tackling her. But at the same time, I am happy, cause I have chances. Haha"

Wayne:"Then, I apologize to her about that, she said that's okay. No problems."

Wayne: "Then, why would President Lee introduce her to me? Haha, cause she gonna work in our company. Yesss!"

Alex: "Your lucky star huh..."

Wayne: "Yeah, I really am. You should jealous of me"

Wayne: "I am confident okay. I told my mom when I back from Europe that she no needs to worry about marriage because I have a crush. She pulled my ear, cause leaving her friend's daughter having dinner alone. Well, what to do, I chase my loved one."

Alex: "Have your mom told you that you are the worst son?"

Wayne: "Many times..."

Alex: " Hmm, Are you sure that you have a feeling for her? You just met her at the exhibition and suddenly fell in love?"

Wayne: "Hey bud, that story was 3 years ago. And of course, working with her every day develop my feelings toward her"

Alex: "Really? Okay, just tell me, what you like about her?"

Wayne: " What I like huh? Hmmm... if I say everything?"

Alex: "Come on. Be specific."

Wayne: "Well let see, She raised a son alone, her son always needs her in every situation like make a decision, what to eat, anything. She raised Daniel at a young age while study. She scores all the subjects. I don't know how she manages her time while taking care of her son. To me, it was a tough job. Even I can't imagine myself taking her place"

Alex: "What her age at that time?"

Wayne: "Right now, she's 26. Yeah, 23 at that time when I first met her."

Alex: "Wow! Young mother huh... Sometimes, they need to be strong having someone to take care of.

Wayne: "I like her, seriously. Spending my 3 years with her, I quite satisfied. Seeing Daniel's growth, accompanied her taking Daniel after school. Having meals together like a family. I like that kind of moment. But it is hard for her to accept outsiders in her life. Still, I don't want to let go those chances."

Alex: "Wow! You talking like a man. Seriously... good luck bud. I am proud of you."

Wayne: "Thanks, man..."

They enjoy their drinks. While busy talking to each other Alex saw someone that familiar to him at the same cafe they had. His expression change. Wayne realized that.

Wayne: "Hey, what's wrong?

Alex: "I saw someone familiar"

Wayne: "Who"?

Wayne look at the same direction of Alex stare at, he saw a figure that familiar to him. He shocked, for a long time, he finally saw that guy today. He wakes and want to go that guy. But being hold by Alex.

Wayne: "Why"?

Alex: "Just sit and ignore him for now"

Wayne: "He is the reason for all of this!"

Alex: "I know, but we cant took rush action, since we dont have any evidence"

Wayne: "You know that you dont need any evidence to trust her."

Alex: "For my belief, yes. But that's not gonna work for law system. Any statement need concrete proof"

Alex: "Deep in my heart, I really want to kill him now. But I cant, I need to investigate more so that I know exactly who is involve in this case. I cant depend to police since they had things with my mom.

Wayne: "I hope you strong enough to face this"

Alex: "I need to for Jessica and my daughter sake"

Wayne knows well how much Alex loves Jessica. Eventhough he married to someone else.

Wayne: "Be honest, did you loved Claire after Jessica gone?"

Alex: "I married her without any feelings. We both being used by our family for wealth. I still cant believe how could they drugged our drinks to make sure Claire pregnant my child."

Wayne: "That's freak"

Alex: "She's crying heavily after the incident. She ask for apologize many times. I felt pathetic because cannot control my action, then I ask for marriage to save her. I know that she actually had a boyfriend. She disagree with her parent decision."

Wayne: "Oh man.... what kind of story did I heard from you...."

Alex: "Now, she's gone. Let me having an Aurora in my life. I really appreciate it eventhough we married without loved.

Wayne: "She passed away, due to what?"

Alex: "Bleeding too much when giving birth"

Wayne: "Sorry"

Alex: "It's okay, you dont have to worry, I just want to focus on Aurora now. That's all. She gonna have a better life than me. That's what I hoped."

Wayne: It's a good thing to hear that from you. You really strong man.
