chapter 3 The Curch clue (ryan)

The cross belong to the local community curch me and Sarah arrived there for further investigation.

"Hello I m ssa joans and this is my partner ssa williams we are here for a case and would like to speak withthe father" I said to the helper .

" Yes ,please follow me" He replied and we followed him down the corridor. He led us to the other side of the curch where the father's office was located. He went inside while we waited outside.

A minute later, he stepped out  "you can go in now".

  We entered the office.

"Hello I m ssa joans and this is my partner ssa williams we are here for a case we'd like to talk to you a few questions father. do any of these faces look familiar ?" I asked handing him the photos.

Father studied them carefully" Yes I do remember them, they used to come here every Sunday "he said.

" Dis they know each other ? Were they close? "  Asked Sarah.

" I don't think so " The father replied...."I mean you know what they are so if they had any connection... I probably would have heard something" Said father.

"Did they have anything in common ?or do anything or anyone ever show any grudge towards them" sarah continued

" None that I know off " He Replied .

"Anything anything at all that all three of them did common even the smallest thing" Sarah pressed further.

" Now that you have mentioned they did confessed to me about their........preferences. About how they fought for their freedom. Some even talked about  hurting their families in the process but I don't think it's relevant and I can't say any more as it would break the seal of confession. "

" Can you atleast tell us the timeline of their confessions? " Asked sarah

" Between 2-3 months " He replied

." Thats ok thank you  if anyone else confess something similar could you let us know?" I asked

he nodded then we both left.

" I think he's choosing his target through curch " I said as we walked out " we need to catch him before someone else dies"

  Sarah nodded in agreement.

  " So would you like to go on a coffee date with me? or lunch ?whichever you prefer " I asked with a grin.

she glared at me and  rolled her eyes.

" Oh come on -I m not that bad" I smirked" Wait.......are you a lesbian"  I said with a dramatic gasp.

she rolled her eyes again visibly  unimpressed.

" Ok seriously now " I said tone softening. "do you like someone else? if you do just tell me. I will back off- it will sting but I'll live that....or ..... Do you just hate me?" 

" No" She replied "I don't like anyone and I don't hate you . I just don't want a relationship right now. Not at all I want to focus on my dream " .

" And may I ask what dream is so important it ranks over me" I said dramatically

" To bring justice, to help the right ,to stand for truth" She said with conviction.

" You are too righteous " I said with a smile." But fine I won't stand in your way just know I won't stop  chasing you . And if ever you felt anything for me you have to tell me deal?" 

she nodded.

Just then my phone rang . It was a call from bureau.

" There's been another murder " The voice said " New victim the case is yours"

Without the word sarah turned the car.

Another case, another story.....
