THE FLYING HEAD BLOODSUCKER

The old woman was tall, bulky and with a big ring on her nose. Her big eyes looks like it could gouge someone soul out. My mother saw me looking at her. Hey, "Spit three times" she told me, I spit. Back then I did not care much, that woman only looks weird to me. “You must never look that woman in the eyes if she is salivating there’s a possibility that she will bring harm to you”. My mother warns me. At midnight my father woke up and went to the washroom.

Suddenly there was a loud scream, we all woke up and went to see what happen. There on the ground lay my father pointing at something on the window. We look at the window and saw in the cactus stick kept by my father to ward off any kind of evil spirit the head of the woman whom I saw on my walk with my mother. Her hair was stuck on the cactus stick. And she was screaming. She moves as if her life depend on her escaping and after half an hour of struggling was finally free and flew away. We stayed there traumatized by what we just saw. 1 year after the incident we went to our village. One of my distant relatives told us a strange story. One night she dream about eating two sacks of rice. She was so full that the feeling of fullness remains even after waking up. She went to the washroom to wash her face and saw that there was blood on her mouth. She was stunned, Checking the inside of her mouth she saw that everything was OK, she wash the blood off with water. 1 hour later news spread on the village that one of the twins was killed by the flying head ghost. After hearing the news, An unsettling feeling was building inside her. She went to the shaman and told him about the dream and about  the blood on her mouth. The Shaman told her that she was the flying head woman and in order to stop more casualties, a ritual must be perform to make the evil spirit leave her body. So, they perform the ritual for 1 weeks . She was finally cleanse and no incident of that kind was heard of up till date.

Ritual killers (part 1)

So, it all started at the night of February 19 2025. a dead body was found floating

lifeless in the river. A sign of assault was evident, red mark on the neck, stuffed mouth with

rocks and a cut tongue and ear, “It’s the serpent worshipper”  the villagers said. No post

mortem performed, no FIR complain the villagers believe the act as basically the act of

nature done by the serpent’s worshipper on his advice. The death body was taken washed,

cleanse spiritually to perform the last rite. After three days the villages went on with their

life  hoping that there won’t be another victim.

On February 25 2025 another dead body spotted on a nearby village with a cut tongue and

several needle punches all over the body. Again, no Fir filed, no post mortem committed.

“It’s the snake worshipper” the villagers said again. I asked my cousin, a permanent

residence of the village on which I stayed for the vacation, on why an FIR was never filed?

My cousin words startled me.

The people in the villages believe that even if an FIR was filed, it’s impossible to find the

killer as the killer was invincible. According to the villagers’ believe ,Their God made his

worshipper rich by  granting them immense wealth in exchange of every victim’s blood. If

the worshipper is  ever killed or beheaded you will never find the worshipper body on the

spot, he will run to his serpent's master and die on his feet. “That’s bullshit” I cried “if an

FIR was filed and a post mortem committed surely there would have been enough evidence

to catch the cold-blooded murderer by now”. My cousin looks at me like I am a mad person

and told me. “You know nothing, don’t talk about this ever again”.
