Spring

I don't know how to tell stories. I'm always too long and I go over details a lot, but oh well. I...

The story I'm about to tell you is about something I can't explain because most of it is supernatural and almost indescribable.

So here it is. A long time ago, there lived on a farm a young man who dreamed of prospering for his family and who worked himself to death to do so. The winters were harsh and the harvests meager, but he didn't despair.

One day he saw a woman on the side of the road; she was in bad shape and needed care. The pharmacy was miles away, so he decided to take her in for the night and brought her home.

When he got home, he put her on his bed and spent the night upstairs, while she was in her room upstairs.

During the night, he had a strange dream. According to these accounts, he saw a deer enter his house and go upstairs, bowing as if to curtsy before the bed where the young girl was.

Strangely, he felt no fear, but was stunned by all this.

Also, according to these accounts, his room began to resemble a green meadow, flowery and magnificent. So beautiful that he was captivated by all this beauty and was speechless.

Then a blinding light invaded and flooded the room. Placing his hand in front of his face, he saw the woman as if levitating in the middle of the room. Around her were all kinds of local animals and birds singing at the top of their lungs. It was incredible.

She then walked towards him and said these words: "Thank you."

Still not knowing what to think, he said nothing.

She then said to him: "Your heart is noble."

Suddenly, he woke up on his sofa, dazzled by the light. He barely had time to collect himself before rushing upstairs to the bedroom.

He wanted to be sure. What had just happened? He raced up the stairs and opened the door.

His surprise was complete. No one was there, his bed was made, and his room was spotless. So it was definitely a dream.

But this girl. It couldn't just be his imagination. He remembered putting her in his vehicle, carrying her to her room, stripping her bed, and sliding her inside. What had happened?

Then came spring and harvest time.

He increased his sales tenfold and became rich that year.

Then one day, while inspecting his corn, he saw her again, crouching in front of a stalk of corn, talking to her. When he called out to her, she stood up and smiled.

"It's you, so I'm not crazy."

She smiled and then said, "Thanks to you, spring will always live."

At that moment, one of the workers asked for him, and when he arrived, she had disappeared.

Later that night, while he was taking out the garbage, he saw her again.

"Who are you?"

To which she replied, "I know you, I am Spring, abundance, and prosperity. I came to you, not knowing if you would receive me. Your promise is above. Don't worry about anything. Your name will live on for a long time."

He didn't understand all this talk and said, "But what's all this about?"

And she replied, "It's a shame you have to live so long. You would be happy with us. Be happy." Then she disappeared for good.

This man lived for hundreds of years and was the source of his family's fortune.

It is said that upon his death, a woman was seen with him under a tree, watching his passing before levitating and disappearing into the sky, leaving behind a rainbow.

This same man appeared to his grandson and said this: The gods have welcomed me, be humble and generous so that I can prepare a place for you where I am.

But I don't really believe this story.

Spring that comes to see you in real life and then takes you to heaven.
