“Asher?”

“CANDICE WHAT THE **** HAPPEND TO YOU??”

“Nothing it’s nothing”

“Asher she was attacked..”

what the **** Cassi just won’t stay in her lane and stay out of it will she?

“It’s not anyone’s concern..”

I started to feel dizzy then my head started to pound with pain then I just blacked out all I can hear is the faint voice of Asher calling for a nurse

“Asher I’m o.....”

Black blank I can’t her anything I can’t feel anything

Several hours later I wake up and hear Asher on the phone with his aunt I can hear how worried she is..I forgot that I have a bandage over my eyes blocking the strong LED lights they have in hospitals

I suddifeel a cool breeze walk past me and I notice it’s Asher walking back and forth waiting for me to wake up

“Mmm”

that’s all I can say...my throat is dry and my ahead is in pain I can feel the IV in my had and Asher waking to my hospital bed

“Candice are you awake”

“Water...”

“Here..”

Asher hands me a big cup full of water and I can’t feel the straw and I struggle until Asher takes the straw and helps me get a sip of the water.

“Candice can you tell me who hurt you?”

“No!”

I can’t tell him I can’t trust anyone because I can’t see so I don’t know who is in the room but I can feel that someone else is in the room

“Candice I want to keep you safe please”

“Asher I can’t tell you and I sure can’t tell a soul because if I do I will be in deep shit!”

I can’t risk my life in something small like this

“At least tell me how long and why your being attacked..”

“Okay..the beatings started happening in 4th grade and it’s because you my best friend”

“WHAT??”

I hear Asher get up and I know that he is angry..

“Candice why do you not tell anyone?”

“Because my insignificant problems has not one thing to do with the school and I can’t tell anyone about it..”

I can feel that Asher is very mad about this and I just don’t want him involved...

“Can you all the nurse I really want to take the bandage off”

“Are thought sure?”

“Positive”

Asher calles the nurse in and asked what I needed and I asked if I can take my bandage off and she took it off

“Candice your eyes are white and you face..”

All I can focus on I s that I can’t see anything everything is dark I can even see the outline of people how bad this is...

“I can’t see...I can’t see...I can’t see...”

“Candice it’s going to be alright”

the nurse just kept saying that while injecting stuff into me and putting bandages on my face.. then someone walked in...
