Episode 5

I woke up to my alarm as usual for every school morning for some reason today felt different. I walk down the stairs and I notice that everyone is staring at me.

“What is going on I asked.” worried that something bad had happened.

My mom, “Your sister is coming back from Otis!”

“That’s amazing I haven’t seen her in like 6 months!” I exclaimed.

“But can I go to school now?” I asked.

“Oh my gosh, look at the time hurry up Deja!” my father gasped.

“Yes, Yes daddy.” I replied hastily.

I walked to Vivian’s house although it was only a few blocks away it was a very long 15 minutes. Thinking about Egan’s kiss and how I’m supposed to see him at school and what if this gets out of hand how am I supposed to tell Vivian.

( Ughhhh. What am I supposed to do?)

I press the doorbell. “~Ding Dong.~”

“Hey, I'm waiting.~” I replied impatiently. “Ahh!”

“Shh.” said Egan in my ear, making me blush slightly.

I didn’t even notice that I was in his room already. Well, one of things I like already about him being a vampire.

“So watcha doing?” I asked happily while walking around his room.

“Nothing much, I thought you would like to know about my family.”

“I’d love to.” I jumped and lied with my belly down on his bed.

“So really everything happened recently when I turned 15\, this thing where everyone in my family has the choice to become a vampire. I obviously couldn't refuse so I said yes.” *sighs* “I started becoming more and more dependent on blood every day but I only drink animal blood no humans. It’s off limits. But I just wanted you to know. My vampire blood runs for more than 500 years dating back to Asia and Europe first.”

“Wow, that is awesome. But how come you sucked my blood when we first encountered each other?”

“Um, that was because I almost did so u felt a pinch but I didn’t suck your blood.” replied Egan shyly.

“Ohhh” I replied intrigued.

“So you should go wait for Vivian. You should go to the bottom of the stairs to get to school.“ Egan said shyly. Egan kissed me on the cheek and I kissed him back on his cheek.

I walk downstairs and I run into Vivian looking up at me with a puzzled expression.

(Oh god, will I get called out. OMG!)

Vivian replies like nothing had happened and is her usual happy self, “So did you get my brother down to get his car ready?”

“Umm, yes. Yes I did I also made sure that he would hurry up.” I replied hastily.

“Egan Hurry up and get down here! We’re waiting for you!” Vivian yelled.

"Coming!" Egan yelled. Running down the stairs and grabbing his car keys from Vivian's pinky.

"You guys ready, summer break is coming! Whop, whop!" Egan hollered form his car while we were driving.

(No wonder everyone liked him, he was obviously extremely handsome for someone his age. I'm so lucky to be able to talk and kiss such an amazing boy. My mid filled with thoughts of Egan and I being married. Hey Deja get a hold of yourself. marriage is probably not gonna happen.)
