Chapter 4: The dramatic encounter

Leonardo and Dante got into one car and Alex was driving. The car was being driven in full speed as Leonardo was bleeding heavily. After 10 mins, the car suddenly stopped in a jerk as the car was about to crash with another car.

• Dante: What the hell are you doing Alex!? Don't you know how to drive!?(he says angrily as Leonardo was bleeding more because of the jerk)

• Alex: A car came In front and was about to crash with us so I had to stop suddenly. I apologize for that (he says to Dante calmly)

Just then a very stunning/beautiful woman wearing royal blue office suit, her long and wavy hair open and an expensive, luxurious brand's heel which was black, came out of the car and knocked on the glass to come out of the car. Dante was furious, so he got out of the car to teach her a lesson.

• Dante: Hey woman! If you don't know how to drive then don't pretend to know, to spare yourself from killing somebody and more yourself one-day.(he says pointing at the woman standing in front of him who scoffed in annoyance hearing him)

• Bella: Is your brain functioning alright? Because I highly doubt it.(she says angrily)

• Dante: Woman mind your words. Otherwise,, you won'tt live to say these words again.(he says dangerously)

Just then her eyes lands on Leonardo who was inside the car and then his injury. Upon seeing the injury she quickly pushes Dante away and goes near Leonardo with a concerned face.

• Dante: what the hell do you think you are doing!?(he says angrily as she pushes him away and goes over to Leonardo)

• Bella: It's a bullet injury. Oh god! He's bleeding a lot. We have to treat him right away.(she says in a calm but professional way)

• Dante: Are you by any chance a doctor(he says looking at her with hope in his eyes)

• Bella: Yes. I am a neurosurgeon. Here's my card(she says handing Dante her Card). He's injury is kinda serious, if not treated in time he may not survive to see the sun tomorrow.(she says in a serious but calm voice)

• Dante: Then treat him. I will give you as much as you want just save his life.(Dante says with concern but impatiently)

• Bella: But we need to go to my hospital for that because treating him here is near to impossible. I can only manage to slow the bleeding for some time, but it needs proper treatment and for that we need to take him to the hospital(she says calmly)

• Dante: whatever it is. Do everything you can to save him.(he says impatiently)

• Bella: alright. So, i first need to slow the bleeding. Lay him down on the back seat.(she tells professional and calmly)

• Dante: alright.(he lays Leonardo on the back seat as he was already unconscious)

she then starts to walk towards her car when dante holds her wrist to stop her.

• Dante: where the hell are you going leaving him untreated.( he says angrily)

• Bella: mind your damn hand Mr.(she says in a low and dangerous tone as she glares at him which almost sent chills down Dante's spine. It was the first time something like this happened.)

• Dante: first answer my question woman, where are you going without treating him(he says trying to cover his hesitant expression to let go of her wrist)

Bella then jerks off his hand in an instant which quite surprised him as she wasn't as weak as she looked.

• Bella: don't you dare to try to touch me, unless you are desperate to pay hospital bills.(she says in a dangerously cold voice)

She then walks towards her car's back seat and then comes back with a medical kit in her hand. She then goes over to Leonardo and starts to unbutton his shirts when Leonardo suddenly grabs her hand and says in a weak voice

• Leonardo: what are you doing? Who allowed you to touch me?

• Bella: If you want to live then you won't stop me. I am a doctor and I have seen many more handsome men's body than yours, so stop being stubborn and let me treat you before It's too late(she says calmly but in a professional way)

• Leo: You thInk i am shy?(he scoffs weakly). Look at me clearly woman, do I look like a shy person to you?(he says with a weak and small smirk)

• Bella: stop talking you lunatic. And let me treat your injury first. After I am done you can continue to tell me how shameless you are. But right now your life matters not your stubborn ego.(she says getting out if his grip and again starts to unbutton his shirt)

He was fascinated by the way she spoke to him. He liked it. It was the first time a girl/women has ever talked to him in the way she did. She wasn't like other women who try to sweet talk him, pretends to be innocent, acts cute and weak in front of him. She was honest. And that impressed as well as intrigue him about her. For the first time a woman interested him.

She then somehow slows the bleeding and tells to hurry up to the hospital.

After 20 minutes they arrived at her hospital and takes him to the operating room immediately. But before she was going to enter the room Dante stopped her

• Dante: Aren't you a neurosurgeon? Then how can u operate on him? He was shot near his chest not brain.

• Bella: looks like after treating him i will have to treat your brain too(she says with an annoyed expression). Look, every professional doctor no matter what she/he experts in can treat injuries like this. And also, do you see any other doctor in this hospital?

• Dante: what do you mean to say? Get to the point already!(he says being impatient and annoyed by the way she talks to him)

• Bella: you really are a fool aren't you?(she says being annoyed by your continues questions) what I mean to say is that, Right now only five surgeons are here in this hospital including me and those four surgeons are doing their emergency surgeries so, only I am available for your friend's surgery. So, do you want to save your friend or not because if yes then let me in and operate on him right now as he has already lost much blood and if we delay even a minute longer than he's beyond anyone's saving.(she says angrily)

• Dante: Alright! alright!, now go!

She then without any delay goes inside the operating room and puts on the gloves and starts to operate.

The surgery was 2 hours long when the room's door finally opened and revealed Bella who opened her mask with one hand and cap with the other.

• Dante: how is he? Is he still alive, dead or halfway to hell?(he says with a concerned face in one breath but he wasnt actually worried as he knew that Leonardo Valentino wont submit to anyone not even to death as he was himself a devil on earth)

• Bella: I see youre not worried. Good to know a true friend.(she says lazily)

• Dante: what do you mean? How is not worrying about my friend who is shot make me a true friend?(he says frowning in confusion)

• Bella: i don't have the strength to explain to u right now. But there's something you should know. The bullet he was shot with was poisoned. And it's a very rare kind of poison. It's very deadly even the smallest portion can be fatal for the person. Its aconitine. It's extracted from acotine. As it is such a deadly poison it's been banned by the international law. So, the one who shot the bullet or wants him to die proves that he must kill him no matter the cost.

Dante became a bit suspicious.

• Dante: how do u know so much about this poison?.unless you're the one who shot it or planned it. BOYS!(he immediately shouts for his men to come as he thought that she was the killer)

• Bella:(chuckles while looking down and shaking her head side to side with an expression which screamed "unbelievably fool" before saying with a small smile) you really proved that you either have a brain injury or some real trust issues. But whichever it is, i don't give a damn. So, listen to me Mr., I know about this poison because my only and last closest person died by this poison. So, I know It very well. But hopefully, the amount of poison in the bullet was not much so, i was able to save him. So, You should be grateful to me not suspicious you fool.(she says with a knowing look and a mocking smile)

• Dante: Alright. I may be a bastard but not an ungrateful one. Thanks for saving that bastard.(says with a Flirty smirk and wink)

• Bella: your flirt tricks won't work on me honey(she says with a disgusting look before walking away)

• Dante: Hey wait up! At least tell me when that bastard will wake up.

• Bella: If he's willpower is strong then within 3 hours and if not then tomorrow morning...and do call me when he wakes up. He looked like a stubborn bastard. Other doctors or nurses won'tt be able to handle him.(she says coldly before turning to leave when Dante speaks again)

• Dante: And what makes you think you can?(he asks with a playful smirk)

• Bella: Maybe because i am more stubborn than him.(she says with a smirk before finally leaving)

• Dante: she's quite interesting.(says with a playful smirk)
