The king azura

Ethan's eyes locked onto the window, ready to make his escape, but just as he was about to leave, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching the room. He swiftly moved to hide behind the curtains, his movements silent and calculated.

Two figures entered the room, their voices carrying across the chamber. Ethan's eyes narrowed as he listened in on their conversation.

"Why, Dad? I don't understand," Smith, the prince, said, his voice laced with desire. "Alisa is stunningly beautiful, and I want her by my side. Why can't I marry her?"

King Tyre Olson, the ruler of Elforia, sighed heavily, his expression disapproving. "Smith, my son, you know exactly why. You're not interested in her as a person, only in her beauty. And besides, the king of Azura has agreed to support our alliance, but he's made it clear he won't let his daughter marry you. He's a powerful man, Smith, with an army at his command and a treasury overflowing with gold. We need his support, but we can't afford to cross him."

Smith's face twisted in a mixture of frustration and entitlement. "What do you mean? I thought the king of Azura was on board with this alliance?"

King Tyre's expression turned stern. "He is, but he's fiercely protective of his daughter. He loves her dearly and won't let her marry someone who only sees her as a trophy. He's agreed to help us, but he won't sacrifice his daughter's happiness for the sake of politics. And let me remind you, Smith, the king of Azura is not a man to be trifled with. He's the most powerful ruler in the region, and his support is crucial to our success."

Smith's eyes narrowed, a sly smile spreading across his face. "You know, Dad, Alisa isn't even the king's real daughter. She's adopted. So, what's the big deal?"

King Tyre's expression turned cold, his voice firm. "Smith, that's enough. You're not thinking about the consequences of your actions. The king of Azura would do anything to protect his daughter, and you'd do well to remember that."

As King Tyre scolded Smith, Ethan thought to himself, "But what if Alisa's adoption is just a cover? What if she's not who everyone thinks she is? Maybe she's an illegitimate child or a product of a secret affair. No one seems to know the truth about her past."

Smith's face reddened, and he stormed out of the room, his frustration and anger boiling over.

Ethan's eyes narrowed as he listened to the conversation, his mind racing with the implications. "So, the king of Azura is a powerful and influential man, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to protect his daughter. If I ever meet Alisa, I'll keep that in mind. Perhaps I can use that to my advantage in the future."

As Ethan watched Smith storm out of the room, he thought to himself, "I'll need to keep an eye on Alisa, if our paths cross in the future. If she's as important to the king of Azura as it seems, I might be able to use that to influence him. The king's love for his daughter could be his greatest weakness, and I'll be prepared to exploit it if necessary."

King Tyre's expression turned worried as he watched his son leave. "I fear for the future, with Smith as our prince. He's impulsive and reckless, and he'll get us into trouble if he's not careful."

Ethan's thoughts echoed King Tyre's concerns. "Yes, Smith is a liability. But the king of Azura's weakness for his daughter could be a valuable asset for me in the future."
