The loud hurry footsteps of nurses and doctors also sounds of patient was loud enough for all to hear .
But was ignored by Moses who just glance at the door with a different expression then back at his wife .
Moses couldn't help but sigh softly holding his wife arm and feeling the warmth from it .
" Why didn't you tell me ? "
He whispered placing his right hand on her stomach wanting to feel the heartbeat of the unborn child .
But could only feel nothing but warmth which made his eyes soften a bit , he could only held her hands yet again worried for both mother and child .

The hoarse but yet tired voice soon caught his attention, facing his wife confused stare he quickly pressed the emergency button below the bed before facing his wife with a relief smile

She asked weakly glancing round before staring at the drip which somehow answer her questions

Moses answered simply a bit sad noticing her relief smile

He asked which caught Anita off guard her eyes soon fall on both their hands feeling the sense of comfort and warmth something she had missed .

She replied simply writing something's down into a note before passing it unto the nurse who simply steps out the room

Anita agrue back not feeling the need to stay she just wanted to head back home and find comfort in her bed

We also discover her Bp is a bit high from average which might be dangerous for both mother and child ,
it's very important for her to have a lot of rest "

" Oh at times I wonder if he will ever try in acting matured can you believe ?,I had to hear from his injury from someone else ,if I didn't call his work place .I wouldn't have known about the attacked on Moses "

Samuel explained with a relaxed smile before approaching Anita whom purse was handed back to her

She concluded her eyes glared from Barnabas with worry before glancing back to her father in law who silently stood by her side

" These days he kept murmurings some certain words that doesn't make sense at firstbi thought of it as nothing but few weeks later
his teacher called to inform me about what Barnabas had said to her and I got to say it was really offensive "
She said not daring to mention the incident about Moses reaction back then and could also hope for Samuel not to get angry

" When I got there his teacher had informed me he had told her , she was going to lose her baby if she didn't stop what she was doing .
The lady was so scared that she floged him but yet he still stood by his words not even the cane could make him Change his tongue and trust me when I say this isn't the first time such things have happened "
She explained to Samuel who frowned glaring back at the boy
" Then any usual thing occer when you noticed ? "
This sudden question startled Anita a little well to her mermories strangely enough the teacher almost lost her baby the very next day and still admitted at the hospital and when she had visited her in hopes that she won't assume Barnabas as the cause of her incident,
but yet Barnabas had told her that he had prayed for the baby life to be spared since the baby was innocent from her mother sin his words were both strange and quite matured for his age which she ignores soon after
However ever since that day other similar incidents had occurred which always involved Barnabas getting scolded or even beating which got her scared and confused but not Barnabas
" Hmm strangely enough yes I know I shouldn't say this but as a mother am a bit scared no terrified what if he's being possessed .
can you please pray for him I don't want him to continue like this , most of the neighbors won't let their children play with him these days and I'm a bit worried "
She bit her lips her eyes closed with worry only to receive smile's from Samuel
" Father do believe me am not lieing "
She added scared that Samuel wasn't going to believe in her words and was just taking it as a joke
" Well it's a bit abnormal however I believe he's not possessed if he was I would have known ? "
He said calmly
" I don't understand if he's not possessed then why have he been acting strange? "

Samuel asked sudden only for Anita to shook her head totally disappointed at herself
" At times a blessing can come in a form that nobody could expect "
He continued smiling only to stared strangely by Anita
" There's no need to worry Barnabas is perfectly fine "
He said firmly but still added
" But I will still pray for him to calm your nervous heart so you shouldn't be afraid anymore ."
He said coolly calming Anita who nodded with a relief smile
Just listening to her father in law words made her a bit relief at some point
since she wasn't expecting those words but looking at her father calm expression she wanted to say more but decided not to utter a word that seemed out of place . what worries her most was if Barnabas could return back to himself or not .
" At times I do wonder what he will be when he grows up "
Anita couldn't understand the sudden change of subject but still answered
" A pastor ? "
She voice out attracting Samuel surprised gazed
" That's what he always said ? "
She added with a smile which made Samuel sigh in admiration
" He's still Young to think to decide such things maybe he might change his mind in the future "
She reason loudly
" what's so young about his age to decide what he wishes to be ?
Even Jesus started his ministry at a very tender age so why can't him ? If he is serious then Starting at such a young age will help him grown more physical and spiritually stronger "
Samuel reason with Anita who hummed admiring his every words
" That reminds me have you been praying Anita ? "
Samuel asked out worriedly wanting to say more but was interrupted the soft knocking of the door
" Come in "
Anita invited the individual in only to turn out to be a nurse rolling in a metal plate cover with a silver lining
" I have bought lunch for her "
The middle age woman explained indifferently unlike the gentle nurse
" The other nurse didn't she come along ? "
Even though she knew the answer she still asked calmly
" No Mrs but she indeed told me to relay the message that your husband is with a doctor changing his bandage and would arrive shortly "
With that she approached Anita bed side adjusting the same tray which she placed on a small adjusting desk which automatically adjusted itself as the nurse place down the food right in front of her with a spoon before leaving the room silently
Without even waiting for a second Anita soon receive the lining only to review a plain white portage which reminded her she was truly at a hospital not a five joint restaurant what a disappointment
Noticing her gaze Samuel couldn't help but sighed in relief
" I had thought it was something heavy but luckily it wasn't which is good .
Right now your body still need rest you shouldn't think of those greasy and oily food it's unhealthy for both you and the baby "
Samuel firmly said while murmurings a small prayer to bless the food
" Now eat I will be right outside if you need anything "
Samuel said in genuine concern while heading towards the door
" Father where are you going ?"
She voiced out surprised by his sudden action
" Am going to make a phone call it won't take long you eat am coming "
With that he walked out slamming the already opened door shut .

The bustly sounds of passerby , nurses and doctors rushing around made him a bit stuffy but didn't seem to complained
his eyes travel round like e hawk till it landed on someone pretty much familiar
He wasn't that surprised by the continues glared he was receiving from Mia and the rest anytime he walks by he could only grumble in annyoance.
" Hiss "
Feeling the sudden itching pain he could only hiss not daring to itch , his eyes fall back on his bandage arm in discomfort tighten the grip on the collar with his other hand .
before approaching the vip ward where his wife was placed simply ignoring Mia who narrow her eyes on every movement and expression
" Mia I know you are just doing your job but I think stalking him like this has gone a bit far , what if he suc us for stalking or take us to court ? "
David complained feeling board and irritated from the continues watching of Moses
" Even I don't want to do this but it's our obligation to follow every command and sir Paul had instructed us to watch every single details about him "
She said calmly before forcing back a yawn
" I understand but yet following him around aren't going to do us good nor bring out any useful information we are just wasting precious time "
He complained the more noticing Mia yawn for the second time
" You seem tired you take a break I handle the rest"
Mia could only rub both eyes to sober herself while shaking her head to yawn loudly this time

Moses sigh in frustration the moment he approached the door .

He murmured heavily to Samuel his who raise his eyebrows, he clearly understand Moses was trying to make him lose his focus on the issue he wanted to discuss
" Am not a child who needs to be taught on when to leave or not and about Barnabas nobody cares much for him than I
. after all am his grandpa however what I worry most it's about you "

He exclaimed statled by his words hoping it wasn't about his job he wasn't ready for another agruement

Samuel breath in calming his nerves as he silently pray in his heart , not knowing how long both stood like there Samuel slowly open his eyes feeling at ease to discover it gone
Wanting to break free but soon tighten by Moses grip who softly sob in his shoulder only to receive a sigh of understanding,
softly comforting Moses who sob the more ignoring the fact that both were in war , his back move continues due to his tears and sob that made him felt disgust himself but not Samuel who continue to patiently comfort him
there was so much he wanted his son to know but he knew it was better to not to say for now since it wasn't the Time yet , the only thing he could do as a father and a pastor was silently pray for him
Moses sobbed in regrets why he was showing such weak side but he couldn't help but sob the more cause for the first time over two years of his life ,
he suddenly felt the comfort he was longing for and that was his father care and not his scolding .

Paul yawn totally exhausted glaring at the wall clock by the side
It was already so late but yet there was nothing he could even bring out from all the reading and cross checking he's gone through
his eyes soon fall on jack who was already fast asleep snoring at the process with his laptop still brightly on before sighing in defeat
" Victor ! Victor ! "
He cried out feeling his voice sour from not speaking that long
" Yes sinor.. I mean sir "
After few seconds of silence a figure rushed in standing in a lazy but firm pose swollening back his urge to yell to salute,
while standing in front of Paul whom eyes were dull but still sharp studying his every expression and movement.
" I want you to return these files back to the file room "
Without saying much his eyes fall back on his laptop in search of something Victor couldn't help but sigh in amazement at the busy figure picking up the few dusty files before taking few steps backwards facing his left leaving Paul to attend to his business .
Walking silently towards a dark corner before sighting the dark brown old door which he gently pushed ignoring the cracking sounds of the door as he walk in sorting out each files to their various boxes ,number and date in each various positions before stretching out the moment he was done .
" My back "
He murmured heavily and dissatisfied by the work before standing furthering his steps out the door slamming it shut through the process
" Victor !! "
He soon heard his name yet again without saying much he quickly hurried to Paul side
" Yes sir "
He replied calmly only to receive a Stern look for a whole few seconds
" Anything sir ? "
Victor who wasn't much comfortable with such stare, open his mouth but soon regretted his choice of words

Paul finally informed pointing at the huge amount of hard drive and a laptop by it's side

He said coolly pointing at a blurry picture by his side whom face was hard to make out from Victor could only swallow hard thinking it was more like a punishment for what happened few hours ago .

He murmured before adjusting his uniform taking few steps towards the empty chair before sitting his eyes would continuously fall on Paul who was still sorting out some files not even blinking not once

Victor found himself drowsy but was still able to restrain himself from dosing off in his assignment mostly when Paul was just a few distance away .

" it was hot , scary and painful I didn't want to go further any longer but I grind my teeth in rememberance of my sister when I found her she was half burned and slightly unconscious I was lucky enough to help her climbed out the window I at least ,
luckily the side she was on the flames were still far less and was able to climb the window through without any harm my help however mine was different since I didn't had more strength to climbed out my self I had inhaled a huge amount of smirk that I felt that I wasn't going to survive it "
" And you how did you escape ? "
Jack couldn't help but be curious wanting to know what happened next he urged

" I remembered that he was a fellow student of my father infact my dad favorite , my dad used to be a lawyer back in his days and had train others as well and Moses was one his favorite ,
I used to watch my father and Moses go out to courts mostly together almost all the time they were like ink and paper always inseparable
However I wasn't that close to him since we were both different in many stuff mostly in career choice's
I work as a cop while he was a lawyer and a really bad one at that he was always anxious to hide everything related to his work from me thinking I was gonna destroy him .
My father knew Moses wasn't all that pure but still encourage him since both were the same crooked and basically good ones at that , my dad wasn't that a good man who deals with justice nor my mom who was simply a corrupt judge , but even so we were simply happy at least for what I remembered.
Even though their death wasn't a surprise it still came as a shock .

Her glare sharp and harsh but yet a mocking smile on her thin lips

She spit out his name with so much hate taking few steps closer until it was just an inch apart

He hummed along not even giving her a glance

She continue mockingly looking behind at jack whom frown deepen

She instructed her team who quickly fail into action, his eyes soon fall on the culprit who lay in his own pool of blood his feet soon hurry towards his body kicking the gun aside .
Before placing his fingers under his nostril checking if he was still breathing and finally to his wounds
" Luckily the gun shot wounds aren't deep for him to die he's just unconscious through to excess blood loss quickly call an ambulance to care for his wounds "
He sighed in relief while standing his mouth parted wanting to say more only to receive a stinging pain on his side cheek
" Are you crazy I clearly told you not to lift your gun but yet you still disrespect my orders and put everyone in such risky situation , what if someone else's die due to your careless attitude ? "
She yell irritated in rage her teeth grind together slapping for the second time
" Mary I follow on one order and besides if I didn't put up my gun then all would have died either way a criminal in group of hostages what do you expect to happen ? In other to survive he will likely kill each and everyone in other to escape either that or my paln and unfortunately I choose mine "
He replied indifferently but yet calmly which got her anger flam the more

Jack asked expressing his genuine worry heart which was a rare sight to see from jack
" I would have a long time ago but the chief didn't and this time am quite sure he wouldn't "
He said filled with confidence in his words .
" Why do you think so , I mean chief definitely hate us that's why he finds pleasure tormenting us all the time and am quite sure he finally have the opportunity to finally cut us out "
