Lyra and Mindi finally reached at their destination, Vex Manna.

"Wow... girl, the place still looking the same." Mindi says as they enter inside.

At that moment, a voice called out," Welcome Master Lyra."

"Ooooooh, Mr. Freddy...how are you?" Lyra stated while hugging him.

"Am very good, Master Lyra." Freddy said calmly.

"Hello Mr. Freddy, how are you? Long time." Mindi expressed cheerfully.

"Am good. Yeah, it's a long time since I have seen you." Freddy comments.

"Well... Master Lyra, I have made a delicious meal." Freddy exclaimed excitedly.

"Wow, thanks Mr. Freddy." Lyra expressed. Then Mindi joins in the conversation and says," yeah, today keep getting better. I can't wait to eat and finish this meal. You know Freddy's meals never disappoints."

"Oooh...Mindi." Lyra chuckled and Freddy soon joins in.

Time flew by, Lyra and Mindi were in the bedroom with Mindi plaiting Lyra's hair. "Girl, I never lied... Freddy's meals never disappoints." Mindi commented breaking the silence.

"Yeah... You're right. I guess I kinda need to thank him." Lyra expressed calmly.

"Yeah..u do. Freddy is like a father. He's the one who raised you when your dad died." Mindi agreed.

"I know...his one made who I am today." Lyra expressed looking happy.

"So when are you going to call him, dad?" Mindi remarked softly.

"I don't know... It will come naturally." Lyra replied to Mindi.

"Am done breading your hair." Mindi says cheerfully.

At that moment, Mindi throws herself on the bed and says," we need to have a girl talk." Lyra raises an eyebrow and replies," about what exactly? I don't have any boy trouble." "Seriously, Girl. U don't notice Danny is acting around you." Mindi exclaimed excitedly.

"What are you talking about?" Lyra asks in confusion.

"Girl, the dude likes you, I think you like him too." Mindi decides.

"He doesn't, or does he?" Lyra expressed looking at Mindi.

"Oooh, come on, girl. You are the greatest detective, can clearly solve anything, but you can't tell that Danny boy is in love with you." Mindi expressed cheerfully.

"HAAA.... Haha, very funny." Lyra said nonchalantly while rolling her eyes.

"Okay... what makes you say that?" Lyra continues to say.

"Well...the part that always notices when are feeling down, the way he stares at you (that one I can't be surprised, you are pretty), and comforting you." Mindi answered cheerfully.

"Okay.. So what?" Lyra asks.

"Lyra, all am saying is that you got trying to be in a relationship. Look, you always focus on work all the time. You literally don't have a life besides that." Mindi expressed calmly trying to make Lyra see.

"I know what you are saying. Literally, Freddy was telling me that." Lyra spoke.

"See even Freddy says that. You are only 26 years old...I know work is important but you need to have fun. Besides I think Danny is too afraid to tell how he feels because he's afraid of rejection." Mindi explains.

"Okay... I will try to have some fun, after we are done with this case. Maybe a nice trip to Bora Bora will do, wanna come?" Lyra expressed cheerfully with a smile.

"Of course." Mindi said gently while trying to hold her excitement.

"Time to go to bed. We have a whole day for us, tomorrow." Lyra comments.

"Good night, my bestie forever." Mindi whispers with her eyes slowly closing.

"Good night, my bestie forever." Lyra whispered softly.

Mindi falls asleep leaving Lyra thinking about her life then she fall asleep too.
