The surgery went quite well. After 2 and half hours, both of them come out with a satisfying smile on their face. Sally was waiting for them outside the OT. He quickly understood by seeing their satisfactory smile on their faces. He smiled at them too.

SALLY - How was the surgery?

ANNA - It was a bit complex, but Dr. Samuel is quite skillfull. He done it very neatly without any mess. I feel very honoured to assist him. Thank you, Dr. Sam 😊

SAM - Ohh....that was just a piece of cake for me. I have done some surgeries without these too as they were not available at the moment. But I am impressed by your skills too and I do not regret keeping you as my assistant. Looking forward to further experiences 🤗

The three of them were happily talking with each other. Just in time, Alexander came and saw them talking happily with each other and he got the thing that the surgery must be successful. But he was specifically gazing at Anna who was talking and smiling to Sam. Don't know why but he just felt pain in heart to see Aana smiling to Sam and not him. He has never seen Anna's smile. Her smile was just pure joy. Like an angel, coming from heaven. Such a pure and innocent smile he has not seen in these years. She was wearing a cap and a drape (surgical clothes) with gloves covering her hands but still Alex was finding her beautiful. He was mesmerised by her beauty, which he has never seen in those curvy womens who were revealving clothes and seducing him by their moments. He never let any of them touch him, not only because of his disease but also because he feel disgusting while seeing them like that.

Suddenly a ward boy came and asked him....

WARD BOY - Mister, who are you looking for? Mister...... Mister! (shouts)

Alex came back to his senses and looks towards the ward boy, with a confuse look.

ALEXANDER - Have you said something?

As the ward boy shouts, everyone looks at them including Anna, Sally and Sam. The three of them looks towards Alex and that ward boy as thinking about what is happening. These three are looking with a confuse gaze at those two who are already confused.

WARD BOY - Sir, you are standing here from last 10 minutes. So I thought you were lost.

ALEXANDER - Ohh... Was I? Yes, I am lost. Please tell me where is Miss. Lily's room?

Sally and Anna thought Alex was lost but Sam finds that something is wrong. Alex can never be lost and can never stand in a place after being lost for 10 minutes. Sam is Alex's closest friend as well as physciatrist so he knows Alex better than anyone. And Alex had never shown this type of symptoms, so he is a bit curious about what the actual matter is.

Suddenly, Sally calls Alex....

SALLY - Alex, we are here.(*wave hands) Did you get lost?

ALEX - Ohh.. Sally, there you are. Finally l found you (fake smile) 🙃

Alex goes there with the three of them and stand beside Anna pushing Sam aside. Anna didn't notices. Sam gives a deadly glare to Sam.

ALEX - Anna, how was your aunt's surgery? Did it go well Did my employee did his job well? (looking at Sam)

ANNA - Your employee? Ohh,Brother Sam! Yeah, he did the surgery very well. My aunt is out of danger. She will wake up soon. Also thanks to you, Alex, that you send Sam on time. I owe you a big favour.

SAM- It's okay Anna, your one thank you is enough for him. You don't need to owe him a favour 😉(smirking while looking at Alex) Right, Alex.

**Note - Anna's aunt lily did not get married as her lover was killed in some tragic way. So she remained unmarried and after the death of Anna's parents, lily adopted her as her daughter but Anna still calls her aunt. The tragic death of lily's lover is still a mystery. It will reveal in the upcoming chapters. So stay tuned 🎶
