episode 5

ETHAN'S VILLA

After a long driver Elizabeth clinging to Ethan throughout the ride due to the influence of alcohol. The car finally stopped at a huge villa. So huge that it needs more than 10 maids to clean it. Everything in it looks quite expensive, and it is decorated beautifully and neatly. Ethan got out of the car and was about to tell Elizabeth to get out but saw she was sleeping. He opened the door on the Elizabeth's side and carried her bride style and walked to his room.

ETHAN'S POV

I gently laid her down and looked at her. She looks so innocent and I found her cute. My eyes went to her cute small pink lips that I wanted to kiss so desperately, but I hold myself. I went to my bathroom and took a warm shower. After taking a shower I wrapped my body with a towel revealing my upper body and my hair was still dripping water.I got out only to feel a soft kiss on my abs.

It was Elizabeth. I looked at her with a smirk she looked up at me her eyes half closed like she was forcing them to open. I placed my hand on her waist and she gasped. She took steps closer closing the space between us and started to run her fingers on my abs. She stood on her tippy-toed and kissed my throat which turned me on. I looked at her with so much desire in my eyes.

"You're playing with fire Missy" I said holding her hands

She just looked me in the eyes and smiled "I don't mind getting burned" and by saying that she took the initiative to kiss me with passion and I replied to the kiss her lips are really soft and kissable. I had kissed many girls before but this one was special, it drove me to seven heavens. I broke the kiss and carried her as I laid her gently on the bed

"Don't regret this" by saying that I crashed on her lips kissing her like my life depends on it. I started to move to her neck I kissed it and made sure I left hicks. I went inside her and after that we slept.

Elizabeth pov

I felt the Sunrays hit my eyes. The silent I felt I was not familiar with. I found it really strange so I slowly opened my eyes as the light assaulting my vision,and I immediately recalled.

" This wasn't my apartment. definitely not my bed where am I " I muttered to myself

The sheets were silk, the air smelled faintly of expensive cigar smoke and minty.

Previous night memories came crashing like a broking glass: the drinks, the dancing and singing loudly. And then mysterious man with blue eyes offered me a ride which I remembered getting inside clinging on his arm, feeling safe in a way I probably shouldn't have.

I looked around the room,this place felt too large. Each detail in this room screamed power and a hidden world. A framed photo on a distant bookshelf seemed to hint at a formidable lineage...

"This dude must be a billionaire " I muttered to myself.

I started to feel a hangover headache I sat down on the bad and looked on the other side. That's when I saw him looking handsome as ever even sleeping. His upper body showing.I covered my mouth with my palm

"Has my talent for observation been discovered... hope I didn't say anything yesterday" I muttered to myself as I looked at him sleeping peaceful I breathed in relief

"Lucky he is still sleeping "I slowly got out of the covers not wanting to disturb him,I looked around for my clothes and saw my shirt was in 2 pieces. I picked it up

"What the..." I gasped in disbelief. I took his shirt from the wardrobe and wore it along with the rest of my clothes, I picked my things and tippy-toed to the door I slowly opened it and ran out of the house

I made it to the main road and likewise I found a taxi ...I gave the driver my location and he drove away.

ETHAN'S POV

After Elizabeth left, 30 minutes later my phone ringed and I answered without looking who is calling

"What" I said my eyes still closed

"Is that how you greet your elders Ethan" I heard a familiar voice...this voice belong to my grandfather.

" Grandfather?" I asked in disbelief

"Come to the Mansion tonight for dinner no excuses" by saying that he hung up on me without hearing me out. Why would grandpa call me. I took a shower and went to the office.

ETHAN'S Office

When I got there and went to my office. I heard a knock on the door

"Come in" I said without looking who is it my eyes fixed on documents, thats when Elena my f**k mate walked in wearing a short red dress revealing her clivege, and the dress hugged her curves perfectly.

 She walked behind me and started to give me a massage leaving wet kisses on my neck. I learned in my chair eyes closed enjoying her hands.

" Is been long since we had a good time Ethan how about we met tonight at the usual hotel" she leaned and whIsper in my ear. I didn't say anything... and that's when William walked in

I looked at him and stopped Elena "leave us" after she left William sat down

"Any new news" I asked opening my laptop

"Yeah Laz called and said she has organized half of the weapons and the rest will be done in about a week. And I found the spy among the clan...and lastly the ancient art that has been looking for years in Egypt is been found. It will be displayed tomorrow night but the locationis not out"

"You mean Cleopatra's treasure has been found"

" Yes boss"

"That great news now let's go and deal with that spy" I smirked as I stood up hands in my pocked. We left the building, and William drove us away

 The Alleyway Warehouse

When we arrived I elegantly walked to the dark torturing room. The room has lots of painful torturing stuff that can make cry and beg for your death. One hand in the pocket the other holding a cigar. William opened the door and I walked inside. I sat down and William stood besides me as two men brought the spy already bleeding showing that they have started with the torture. He kneeled infront of me. I faced him and raised his chin to make him look me in the eyes

"Who sent you" I asked him in a calm tone not showing any emotion, but he just laughed like I said something funny. I got angry and used my cigar to burn one of his eye. He screamed in pain which made me smile in satisfaction.

"Tie him up" I commanded and they did as told. I walked towards the weapon table,took off my jacket and choose a golf stick. I started beating him hard with it.

" Are you ready to talk" I asked him putting the stick down. Blood was dripping like water on his body his face was beyond recognizable

"Never" he whispered facing down

" You are his loyal dog aren't you " I smirked as I picked knives, I threw one and it landed on his shoulder making him scream in pain and I threw the other one landing on his leg making him lose more blood

"You know if you don't talk I don't know what I will do to your 6 years old girl.. and she is cute to die in this young age" he looked at me with one eye

"Ohh finally got your attention" I smirked as I put down the remaining knives and faced him

"So are you going to spill the beans "I folded my arms gaze never living his sight

"It was Mr ... Dante... I work for...for him."he said in whisper breathing like his soul was leaving his body

I smirked after hearing the name of my rival enemy.

" So what's his big plan since your so devoted and ready to die for him huh" I asked leaning on the table

" I only know that he joined hands with Matthew to destroy you and the big plan is yet to come and I don't know what is it ... just know Matthew has eyes and ears everywhere it is not only me" he laughs

  Just then William walked in holding my phone. I took it and saw it was grandpa. I took my jacket and walked away towards the door

" Let's go to the old mansion" I said walking out the room

" What about him" William asked making me turn and face him

" Put him in the venom room" I said and left the room while he commanded 2 men to do it, and they did. I heard his cry across the hallway. I just walked away

William drove us away

GREENFIELD COLLEGE

Wendy, Lily, Kim and Kate were chilling at the field side watching the guys practicing basketball while chatting. As they were talking a guy who looked like he is in the early 30s walked towards them with a smile and greeted them. They all replied same time with smile

"Do you guys know this girl" he showed them a picture of Elizabeth. They all looked at each other

"Isn't that El…" Kate said but Wendy corved her mouth which made Max look at her suspiciously

" We don't know her she does go to this college... if I may ask who are you and why are you looking for her" Wendy said looking at Max with confused looked

" Ohh sorry I am Max, am his brother-in-law her sister is looking for her" he said in a calm tone

"Sorry we don't know her" Wendy replied looking at Max in disbelief

" Thanks for your time" by saying that he left, Daniel and Miles walked to the girls

"Who was that" Miles asked while Daniel was drinking walking he took from Lily

" He said He is Max he is looking for Lizzy he claims to be her brother-in-law and when I checked Lizzy lives alone for as far as I know her" Wendy said looking at Miles in a worried look

"Is she in some sort of trouble?" Wendy asked holding Miles hand

"I doubt that she looks too innocent to get involved in trouble. That guy that took him yesterday? he lookedmore like Ethan Miller" Miles said kissing her on the forehead

 " Ohh about that she explained they know each other" Wendy said

"We should get going am hungry guys" Kate said, and they all left to the cafeteria

The Miller's Mansion

Later that same day. I and William arrived at the mansion, when they got in they were greeted by maids.

I saw grandpa coming down the stairs. He is really old so he uses a walking stick to balance, but he is still healthy and strong. He saw me and smiled

"My grandson" he said walking towards me and gave me a big hug...he broke it and faced me looking besides me, he noticed William. And he also hugged him.

"Where is My grand-daughter-in-law" he asked still holding me.

"Not this again grandpa... can we talk about it another day"

"Your not getting any younger Ethan and am getting older each and everyday I want grandchildren... and you need an heir to carry on growing the Miller's empire unless if you want you're brother to be in charge"

"I will never allow that grandpa don't you worry...let's go and eat food is getting cold" I hold his arm and we walked to the dining table we all sat down...my stepmother, and father were already sitting down. I got annoyed when I saw them. I didn't even waste my energy in greeting them. Grandpa looked at William

"Your still following Ethan, when are you going to start to make Your family or are you just like your friend?" Grandpa asked making William choke from his food he drank, some water and faced grandpa

"Is not that... I have someone am seeing" he replied putting the glass down and continued to eat.

"That's wonderful you should introduce others to your friend here he should stop being a player and settle down he Is getting old" I ignored him and drank my wine

" Father Jason will be returning tomorrow so..I was wondering if he will be going to attend the Everns banquet" Mrs Miller asked looking at grandpa. Which made me face grandpa with a confused look.

"All of us will be present since they invited All of us" grandpa said and stood up. he looked at me

" Follow me" I did as told, and we walked into his study room. He sat down and adjusted me to also sit, which I did.

"We are invited to tomorrow's banquet since the Everns daughter is coming back from abroad and also to display the ancient art that was found in Egypt …. I want you to come with a partner because if you don't, I will be forced to remove you from the CEO position and make Jason the new CEO" he said without blinking meaning he isn't joking.

 "Grandpa you can't do that you know he will destroy the Miller's empire and everything will go to waste"

"Then give me a grand-daughter-in-law Ethan "

"Okay grandpa good night", I left the study lost in my thoughts as I walked to my room I met William already there setting on the couch. I joined him

"What are you going to do" he asked me pouring me a glass of whiskey

"Easy we find Lina and I propose to her, she will come in handy. She can help us find Matthew's men since they are keeping an eye on him."

"I will look for her" by saying that he left, and my mind shifted to what grandpa said and also that spy about Matthew's big plan against me is just too much. I drank myself to sleep.

Elizabeth's Apartment

Next day I rose from my bed earlier than usual. Eye bags around my eyes since I couldn't sleep. I kept tossing and turning all night thinking about that guy with blue unique eyes. I got ready for work as I opened the door I found a letter on it, I opened it and found is rent letter

"Debt are gonna drawn me at this point" I put the letter in my bag and locked the door. Today I decided to walk to wor, to clear my head…the neighborhood was busy and noisy like always nothing like in the city. After a long walk I made to work

NANCY'S CAFÉ

I unlocked the door since I was too early today. I walked in, wore my apron and started to organize the place before turning the open sign...slowly customers started to come in and I started to work on their orders.

In noon I received a call from Mrs Nancy saying she won't be able to come due to family issues. So I continued to work alone.

The scent in the air changed it started to smell that expensive cologne mixed with cigar. The smell that kept hunting me all night. When I looked up there he was standing in front of me looking so handsome as ever. His blue tuxedo matching with his eyes sparkling...I found myself drown to them. I don't want to lie, but I started to feel nervous then all the memories of that night came crashing back making me feel shy I looked down immediately and cleared my throat

"What would you like to have sir" I asked my voice shaking a bit still facing down

"I would like to have you" he said and that made me face him immediately as soon as those words left his mouth...he looks cool, calm like he meant every word he said… I laughed nervously

"I didn't know you can be this funny" I looked at him, and he looked at me so serious that makes me feel a bit embarrassed

"Wait....you...your serious" I looked at him in disbelief, and he just sat down...His gaze never leaving me

"Do you think am joking" he looked at me with his blue eyes I looked at the guy who was sitting next to him, and he nodded positively

" So why do you want me" I looked at him trying to be cool

"I want you to be my fiancée" he said calmly which made me look at him furiously.At this point I wanted to leave a hot slap but I calmed myself.

"Excuse me but what do you mean about that" I asked in a sharp voice but he just looked at the guy next to him that's when he gave me a file. I opened it and found is a marriage contract.My eyes opened widely in shock

"I know your low on cash your literally struggling you even dropped out of college because of money. So here is the deal you pretend to be my wife for a year and I give you 1million at the end of the contract"

I was still looking at the contract and I closed it and gave it back to him "am kinda not interested...and I know I currently struggle for cash right now, but I know I will find a way out"

"Look Lina this is not where you get to choose you don't have a choice unless you want to rot in jail" he said putting his hands on the counter

"Why would I get arrested is not like I did anything wrong" I looked at him nervously my hands shaking.

"Ohh but you did William show her" he smirked as he started to smoke his cigar and William took out a bunch of Pictures and not just any Pictures. Pictures of me driving away gangsters while polices were on the chase. That made me panic a bit because all I wanted was to start my life afresh ...and that's definitely not in jail

"You have 7 hours to decide" he said and left and William gave me a business card and just like that they left

"Great trouble always finds me why didn't they give me the name trouble" I said to myself holding the contract along with the card while looking at the card I noticed is The Miller's company

"Wait...so that person is Ethan Miller..." I ran my hand through my hair "this is a mess-up he will definitely destroy me if I don't agree am sure of it "I looked at the time on my phone and saw it is 5:30 pm meaning I have 30 minutes to reach there.

In a panic I took my pen and signed the contract without reading it and took the keys. I closed, locked and started to look for taxis but non-passed

" Why is it every time I need them they are not here" I looked around and saw a kid's bike near the ice-cream shop. I smirked and took it. I rode it in high speed like am being chased. The owner came out of the shop running and shouting

"SORRY" I shouted back going as fast as I could hoping to make it in time

THE MILLER'S COMPANY

I checked the time and saw only 5 minutes left I ran inside the building and went to the reception desk breathing heavenly

"Am here to see your boss Mr Miller" I said looking at the lady

"Do u have appointment "she asked me and I looked at her

"Lady this is a matter of life and death. If I don't see him within 3 minutes am going to die and who knows I may take you with me because I can not die alone"I said, and she called security on me that's when I noticed William getting in the elevator. I ran towards the elevator while security chasing me like am a thief. I saw the door was about to close, so I did the unthinkable. I threw one of my shoe at the door to prevent it from closing, and it worked...everyone in this building was looking at me like I was a crazy mad person, but I ignored them. Finally I made it to the elevator I picked up my shoe

"Sorry about that gentleman" I said putting on my shoe, and they just looked at me speechless. When the elevator stopped William got out leaving two guys, so I followed him. He noticed me following him and stopped which made me bump into him. he turned and I looked up at him, brushing my forehead

"Why are you following me "he asked looking at me

"Am not following you, we are just going to the same direction" I looked at him and saw he was not buying it "okay fine am following you I want to see Mr Miller" he just continued to walk and pointed an office up ahead

"That's his office" by saying that he went to another place leaving me alone, and I started to feel nervous I looked at the time and saw I am late by 5 minutes I rushed to his office and forgot to knock

That's when I saw a cute Lady hugging Ethan while he was busy with his laptop...at this point I felt embarrassed. Why did I have to run in such awkward situation. I cleared my throat to get their attention.

They both looked up at me.Ethan had a smirk on his face like he just won something and the lady was looking at me with discussing look. That made her get my attention, I looked at her for a long time studying her.

ETHAN'S POV

I looked up and saw that it was my pray that barged in without knocking. I smirked

"Ohh you made it my lady…Elana leave us" Elana stopped in front of Elizabeth giving her a nasty look like she just took something precious from her. Elizabeth walked towards where I was sitting and put the contract on my table

"Firstly am not your lady and secondly why do you want me when you already have someone huh?" she said as she sat down

"That must not concern you sweety" I said standing up and sat on top of the table leaving a small gap between us.

she shifted her chair away to create space making me smirk.And she gave me the contract already signed

"Good I knew you were going to come around. So you will be moving in tomorrow, and Tonight you are going to attend a banquet with me." I said looking at her

"Ohh and one more thing from now on I own you. Which means your not allowed to be with other guys. We play the perfect couple in public, and you don't interfere with my personal life"

"So what your trying to say is your allowed to make out with other girls and am not allowed "

I smirked clapping my hands "wow am impressed your brain does work" she looked at me rolling her eyes. I used my desk phone and called William. Within minutes he walked in

"Lina go with William to pick a gown for tonight and fix your...self okayy" I said looking at her before giving William my black card. She stood up to leave but stopped and faced me

"Look if we are doing this your not allowed to call me by that name I go by Elizabeth now" by saying that she left with William

"she is quite interesting" I took out my phone and answered it

"You should come and see this Mr Miller the job is done" I smirked and hung up my phone and left the office. I drove away.
