Back to the Day We Parted

Chapter 1(The girl she was)

Lucine was the kind of girl you couldn’t ignore—even if you tried.

Barely 150 centimeters tall, cutest, she was a bundle of noise, laughter, and unexpected wisdom wrapped in a pink short kurti. With her ponytail always slightly messy and her expressions changing every two seconds, Lucine looked like someone who belonged in a cartoon—but in the best way possible.

She wasn’t the top of the class. Her notebooks were full of doodles, random thoughts, and half-finished homework. But she had other talents like writing poems, flooding group chats with memes that somehow matched everyone’s mood perfectly. Lucine didn’t just like memes—she practically spoke in them. If life gave her a situation, she had a reaction meme ready for it within seconds.

People loved her for her unpredictability. One minute she’d be crying over a sad gaming cutscene, the next she’d be sending dancing cat GIFs to cheer everyone up. She was silly, emotional, a little too loud, and entirely unforgettable.

Lucine didn’t try to be the center of attention. She just naturally was—full of chaos, comfort, and comic timing.

And somehow, without even meaning to, she was everyone’s favorite person...but inside her a small baby is hidden who craves love! Inside she is lonely....

It didn’t begin with fate. It began with a meme.

Lucine was doing what she did best—scrolling through memes at 1 a.m., giggling into her blanket like a little gremlin. Her favorite meme-sharing page had just posted a painfully accurate post about school life:

"Me pretending to understand what's going on in class while actually planning my snack order."

Lucine instantly reposted it to her story, adding:

“Me. Every single day. 💀💀💀”

A few minutes passed. Then came a message request.

Someone had replied to her story.

> @noturtyp:

“Wow, didn’t know someone else had the same brain as me.”

She stared at the name. Total stranger. No mutuals. Just a weird username and a frog profile pic.

She hesitated for a second—then clicked.

> Lucine: “Well, now you do. Welcome to the club. We meet during lunch and cry before math tests.”

That’s all it took.

One meme. One silly reply.

And the chat didn’t stop.

They started sending memes back and forth like old friends that night. Joke turned into joke, sarcasm into comfort. He was funny, surprisingly kind, and just the right amount of weird as her! Lol
