A shameless Brat!

Nicholas was now sitting in his study, in his sweviling chair as he buried his head in his hands, thought to himself,

‘She’s not like the other women I’ve met. She’s… different.’

As Tama layed down on her bed, staring at the ceiling, the resent memory replayed in her mind making her blush hard as an unfamiliar heat coursed through her body. She’s thought to herself,

‘I’m trapped in this web of danger and desire.’

Then Nicholas thought, ‘I’ll never let her go.’

Tama was sitting in a luxurious room, looking rather uncomfortable, Mr. Carlos Vermilion, Nicholas’s grandfather, the main owner of V-cooperation, walked into the room. His presence commanded respect and created a sudden hush in any room.

Tama stood up and bowed low with respect but no fear, then he gestured her to sit.

“Ah, Tama, you are my grandson’s lawyer, correct? Thank you forr meeting with me.” Mr. Carlos said warmly with a sweet smile across his face.

“The pleasure is mine, but what is this about, Mr. Vermilion?” She asked cautiously.

He explained his reasons for meeting Tama, and her kidnapping with a serious look in his eyes.

“Nicholas is in a bit of trouble, and we need your help to get him out of it without doing anything illegal. Naturally, I would have told him to take care of it in ways best known to him, but for the sake of the company and his mother has pleaded that he should stop—

“But he is going against what his mother asked of him and committed fraud or what, murder? Classic mafia behavior, never true to their words if it doesn’t concern them having their revenge.” She interrupted then scoffed knowing that the next thing he would ask for was that she should help him without question or else.

Mr. Carlos leaned forward, with a cunning glint in his eyes.

“Ah, but that’s where you are wrong, Tama. Remember, your family, career and you are still on the line and if you’ll refuse to do what I am going to ask of you, then I’m sorry but, I just guess we have to go back on our word to free you and your family.” He said in an evil tone as he pressed his fingers against each other.

Tama then gasped with a skeptical look on her face, quickly taken aback from his cold demeanor.

Mr. Carlos then smiled, revealing his clever plan for them to be together without causing suspicion.

“A secret marriage, Tama. Between you and Nicholas.” He said with a cunning smile.

What? No way!” She exclaimed looking outraged as she swiftly got up from her seat.

Mr. Carlos then reminded her about the threat.

“Think about it Tama. Your family will be taken care of and Nicholas will get a respectable partner. And on top of that you will be comfortable.” He proposed.

She had no choice but to agree, reluctantly as she’s glared at the marriage documents.

Later in the V-cooperation, Nicholas sat at a large crystal-like desk with his feet on it as he effortlessly swirled a pen in his right hand, while asking his grandfather how the talk with Tama was.

“She is a bit difficult, but she has no choice but to marry you in order to save her family and now your case will be settled.” Mr. Carlos sneered.

“Good, after we take care of the case, we’ll sign a divorce.” Nicholas justified.

Later in Nicholas basement, Tama sat in a corner and screamed at the top of her lungs,

“Using my family to threaten me?! Then you want me to marry you secretly?! You shameless brat!!!”
