Chapter 3

Aiden’s POV

I look at her, staring at the wooden flooring. She was quiet. 25 laps is not a lot, it was easy in my opinion. “Class, choose your partners now.”

Every female started rushing towards me. Everyone but her, she just walk towards a corner and sat down. I walk towards her and sat next to her. “What do you want now?”

“To be your partner. What? You don’t want me to be it?” I asked. “No, you are too annoying.”

“Well too bad.” I said. She looks up and walk outside. Their running grounds was huge but my pack’s is larger. Most wolves shift into their form, I would do the same but I wouldn’t.

“Aren’t you going to shift?” I asked. She shakes her head no. “Aiden, little Amy here doesn’t shift, no one knows what she is.” A student said, laughing.

The coach blew his whistle and we all started running. I ran next to her. “Aren’t you an alpha?”

“When did I say I was a alpha? Just becuase my stepmother said I was one, doesn’t mean I am one.” She said angrily. “Then what are you?”

She was quiet and decided to run faster. I pass by most of the class who already stopped after 1 lap. She haven’t stopped yet.

Time went by, it had been 20 laps already, she haven’t stopped once yet. I followed her again.

I remembered everything she said. She wasn’t an alpha? What exactly is she then?

We both ran 25 laps and the coach was impressed. “Good job both of you. I’m surprised that 2 people out of all my classes actually completed the running.” The coach said.

She just nods. “You can both leave early.”

She walks towards the locker room and I went to the boy’s. It had been a few minutes and she was already finished. I am just glad I finished earlier than her. She looks at me and then turn to the other hallway. I quickly catch up with her. “Lemme guess, you have all 10 classes with me.”

10 classes? “Yeah, of course, I still haven’t fully rejected you yet. Of course the bond should grow.” I said. She just look down. “Do you not want the bond to grow?”

She was even more quiet now. “By the way, what is the next class?”

“English.” She said quietly. “Then math.”

English was okay. I sat next to her again and tried to copy her work. “Do it yourself.”

“But it’s hard. Atleast lemme copy.” I said, sounding like a little kid. She started to ignore me.

I was mostly surprised that the teachers gives more homework, then the class work. All the teachers give us a lot of homework. “I hope you have fun in detention.” She said as she enters math. “What do you mean?”

She didn’t say anything and just sat on the front row. The teacher don’t teach but give us more work. What the hell. “Return your class work but the end of class or you won’t be able to leave until you are finished.” He said to everyone except her. “Why does the teacher tell everyone except you?” I asked while finishing the first page. “Becuase I am the only one that finishes.”

I look at her work, she was faster than me by a few pages. “What kind of university is this?”

“A protection one, how are you stupid?” She said as she turned the page.

“How are you so quick at work but not in bed?” I whispered. She froze.

“Don’t talk to me anymore.” She said as she move to another seat at her left.

I move towards her again. “Did you know I’m also going to be living in the same dorm as you?”

Her right hand started trembling. I just look at her. Her face was blank.

The bell rang and she snaps back. She look at her work and was ready to turn it in. I follow her when she turned it in. I can hear a crowd outside. I don’t have time to deal with those she-wolves. They are so annoying. Why can’t they pester another alpha?

I ran towards the bathrooms and she was just coming back. I grab her hand and pulled her with me as I ran. I stop after a few minutes and look at her. She was rubbing her hand due to the pain.

She looked back again and her eyes widened. “Your fan girls are back.”

She opened her dorm and tried to close the door. I pushed it with my strength and entered.

“What else do you want? You have been bothering me for the whole day already.”

I look at her, no, OUR dorm. It looked cozy. “We are going to share a dorm.”

“Fine, just don’t bother me, your room is down the hall, to the left. Plus I won’t be home today, so you will be by yourself.” She said.

I look at her then at her lips. I push her against the wall and kissed her quickly. I pretended I didn’t do anything afterwards. “Why did you do that?”

“Do what?” I asked sounding confused. She walk towards the kitchen and got some napkin, wiping her mouth. “Disgusting.”

“I’m not disgusting.” I said. She went towards the fridge and got some food. She sat down on her table and started her work, acting like I wasn’t there. I sat on the table which definitely distracted her. “Can you not? You are going to break the table.”

I ignored her and continued sitting on the table. The bell rang again and she got up.

“What’s next?” I asked. She didn’t say anything. I was stopped before I could follow her.

“Aiden, consider being my boyfriend.” Someone said. “I don’t even know you.”

“My name is Mia, and I’m the prettiest in this school.” Mia said. A whole lot of people started surrounding us. “Well then Mia, I think that you are not pretty at all. Makeup doesn’t work well.”

She wasn’t even pretty. The prettiest is definitely Amy.

I tried looking for my next class. I entered 15 minutes late. The teacher looked at me then back at the lesson. “New student, please take a seat and find a partner.”

I look at her. There were other students trying to be her partner but she refused.

The teacher let out a huge sigh. “Students, don’t bother Miss Adams, new student, you will be her partner.” She said. Luck was on my side. “The project is about alphas. You must find one then sketch their features and write a report.”

I take my seat and look at her. She was drawing something. “What are you drawing?” I whispered. It startled her. I could smell her hair when I was whispering. It smelled like coconut.

“I’ll let you do my features.” I said while getting the poster. “We will not be presenting, but your project will be sent to the government.” The teacher suddenly blurted.

She left the classroom and I turn to her. She was washing her hand. “What are you doing now?”

“Open your mouth.” She said. “What?”

“Just listen to me.” She said as she get her sketchbook out. I did as she told. “Can I feel your fangs?” She suddenly asked. “Hm, if you want.”

She put her index finger onto my left fang. She quickly pulled it back in about a minute.

Her finger was bleeding. I turn to see if anyone was looking but no one was. I take her finger and sucked her blood. She was surprised with my actions and tried to pull back. I stopped

in a minute. She went towards the sink and washed her hands again.

I look at her sketchbook, it was filled with sketches of my fangs. I chuckle a bit.

I think it’s a good idea for her to be my partner. She might do most of the work. She came back and started writing.

The day went by quickly. The classes all ended around 4:30. She rushed to her dorm and put her stuff down. “Where are you going?”

“I won’t be home until it’s late, so don’t bother asking about where I am.”

“Is it because of the dinner?” I asked. “Yea..” she said quietly.

“I’ll go if you want.” She was quiet. “No.”

I watch as the same little kid enter. She ran towards him and picked him up. “Mama, what’s going on?” He asked. Mama? It’s her child?

Amy’s POV

I rush Axel into his room and told him to get ready. He did as he was told.

I went out of his room, closing his door.

“Who’s child is it?” He asked. “Tell me, who’s fucking child is it?”

I was starting to get scared. He gripped onto my shoulder. “Amy, tell me if you really want to have children, I can help you.”

I was quiet. He should figure it out his-self. I look to my right. His grip started tightening and I push him away. “Leave me alone. It’s been almost 6 years, why can’t you move on?”

He was quiet and let go. I fall onto my knees and started crying. The pain was back and I lay back on the ground, unable to do anything. “Mama..”

Axel came towards me and I touch his face. “I’m alright Axel. I’m alright.”

I tried to stand and walk to my room but I fell. It’s getting worse. Axel was there.

“Axel, put your shoes on, I’ll get ready real quick.” I said while patting his head. He nods and make his way to the living room. I let out a huge sigh and quickly changed.

My door opened and I thought it was Axel. I turn my head and I see him. “Amy, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it earlier.” He said. I didn’t say anything but put my jacket on. He walks towards me and hugs me. My eyes widen with shock.

It feels warm in his arms. I tried to push him away but it only made him tighten his arms.

“I am sorry, I didn’t mean to make you cry.” He said while putting a piece of my hair behind my ear. I didn’t want to say anything.

Aiden’s POV

I look at her. She was starting to cry. “Sh..Amy, don’t cry..”

I lift her up and put her onto her bed. I went near her neck and licked it. She suddenly started trembling. She is scared. I look down at her. “I’ll do it when you are ready, I just want the pain to go away.” I said as I massage her stomach. “Only becuase of the pain, do it tonight. But be gentle and the walls are soundproof.” I started grinning while touching her face. “What about the bond, I haven’t fully rejected you yet.” She was quiet. “I won’t break the bond if you are good.”

I was happy now. My second mate might not reject me. I face her and kissed her. It was passionate and she even kissed me back. There was a knock sound and she stop.

“Axel, go do your homework first.” She said. “Alright, mama!”

“Now where were we?” I asked. “I don’t know, you tell me.”

She started kissing me again and I pushed my body against her even more. She put her arms around my neck and her legs around my back. “Seems like you can’t wait anymore.”

“Shush.” She said. She suddenly got off the bed and went towards the door. “I have a dinner to attend.” She said while fixing her hair and clothes. “I wanna go.”

She shake her head no. “Lilac is going to join this university next week and they are making me take responsibility.”

I wen towards her and hug her from behind, laying my head on her shoulder. “Can you tell me what you are now?” I asked while putting my arms around her waist. “I..I...”

“If you don’t want to tell me, it’s alright.” I said while moving my hand up to her breasts.

“Don’t.” She said. “Fine, you can’t just leave after turning me on.”

She chuckled a bit. “That’s your problem.”

I peck her lips quickly and move her hair a bit, showing her bare neck. I kissed it and she let out a small moan. “..please d-don’t..I am going to be l-late..”

I quickly stop and cup her face. “Have fun!”

She turn her face and had a small smile on her face. She closed the door out and held onto the child’s hand tightly.

Amy’s POV

I knock onto the front door and was greeted by a maid. She bowed as soon as she saw me.

I walk towards the dining room with Axel in my arms. I look in front of me to see my so-called family. “Amy, my dearest daughter, you are back.” My father said as he stood up. I nod.

“Is that my grandson?” He suddenly asked as he saw Axel. “I don’t know, is he?”

“Amy, that isn’t how you should speak to your father.” Lily said. Someone else entered and it was Noah. My first mate who rejected me. “Amy! It’s great to see you!” He said, trying to pull me into a hug. I take a step back dodging the hug. I see a open seat and sat on it.

“So..we called you here to this family dinner because we want you to be responsible for your sister.” Lily said, smiling at Lilac. Noah kissed Lilac, and I was disgusted. She stole my first mate and my father, what else do she want?

“Why should I be responsible?” I asked as I take a sip of juice. It tasted weird. Axelwanted a sip but I didn’t want him to take it. ‘The juice is weird’ Reina stated. I know.

“You should be responsible because she is your sister.” Lily said. I started laughing.

“I remember I was an only child, my mother is dead, how do I have a sister?”

She gritted her teeth and stare at my father. “Martin..look at how rude she is..”

Axel suddenly buried his head into my chest. “Are you scared?” I asked while looking at him.

He nods his head and pointed to Lilac. “It’s alright.”

“Amy, apologize to your mother now!” My father shouted. “I’m sorry but you must be mistaken, my mother is dead.” I said as I take a bite of my chicken. I started to feel dizzy a few minutes after, there was definitely something wrong. I quickly whispered to Axel, to pretend to sleep.

I pretended to faint for some time and tried to listen to their conversation.

“Mother, that bitch is drugged now, let’s send her to Alpha Hayden now.” Lilac said.

“Be quiet, let her shift first, the drug will force her to.” She said.

Someone reach their hand out to touch me and I caught it. Noah looked at my cold eyes and suddenly got scared. “Since I’m finished, I will head out now.”

“Amy, why so early?” My stepmother asked. “I have to study.”

“Alright, help Lilac with her luggage then.” My father said. “You have plenty of maids to do that for her, what am I? A maid?” I asked while getting up.

“You take the car, I will walk.” I said to my half sister. “Alright sister.”

I walk and Axel open his eyes. “Mama..are they good guy or bad guy? Will they take me away from you?” He started to look forward in fear. “Axel, they can’t take you, you are forever my little treasure.” I said. I kissed his forehead and soon after I was feeling dizzy.
