Episode 4: Adventures in the city of drey

Delhi was a playground of possibilities — a city where every corner held a new adventure, and every moment with Arjun was a chance to discover something magical.

Isha loved how Arjun turned ordinary days into memories she’d cherish forever. Whether they were riding through bustling markets on his motorcycle, sharing spicy street food at a tiny roadside stall, or laughing uncontrollably as they got caught in a sudden summer rain, every second was electric.

One evening, Arjun surprised Isha with tickets to a cozy rooftop café overlooking the city’s glittering skyline.

“I thought we deserved a little break from the chaos,” he said, grinning.

Isha beamed. “Best surprise ever.”

As they sat under the stars, sharing warm chai and stories, their hands found each other’s, fingers intertwining naturally.

He whispered, “You know, I never believed in love at first sight until I met you.”

Isha blushed, her heart fluttering. “You’re such a romantic.”

Their laughter mingled with the night air as they planned their next adventure — a weekend trek to the nearby hills where they could escape everything and just be.

For Isha and Arjun, Delhi was more than a city — it was the backdrop to a beautiful, unfolding love story full of laughter, warmth, and endless possibilities.

: Flames in the Quiet

The night air wrapped around them like a velvet cloak as Isha stepped into Arjun’s Delhi apartment. The city noises faded away, leaving only the soft hum of their shared heartbeat.

Arjun’s hands found hers immediately, pulling her close. His eyes burned with a fierce tenderness that made her knees weak.

“Isha,” he murmured, his voice thick with emotion, “I’ve wanted you like this since the moment I saw you.”

She shivered as his fingertips traced a slow path down her arm, sending sparks through her skin. Their lips met—first tentative, then hungry—like two flames hungry to become one.

In the quiet intimacy of the room, they explored each other with reverence and passion. Every touch, every whisper, was a promise; every breath a vow.

Clothes fell away beneath their fingers as they moved together with a rhythm that was both wild and tender. The world outside ceased to exist as they lost themselves in the fire of desire and the softness of love.

Afterwards, tangled in each other’s arms, Isha rested her head on Arjun’s chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart.

“This,” she whispered, “feels like home.”

He kissed her hair gently. “You are my home, Isha.”

: The City Beneath Their Feet

Isha’s head rested on Arjun’s chest as morning light slipped through the sheer curtains. He was already awake, lazily running his fingers through her hair, his other hand playing with the silver ring on her finger.

She looked up, still sleepy-eyed. “What are you thinking about?”

“You,” he said simply. “And the fact that I’ve got a whole day off. Let’s disappear into Delhi. Just you and me.”

She grinned. “I thought you’d never ask.”

A few hours later, they were out on his bike, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist as they rode through the winding roads of Old Delhi. He took her to Jama Masjid, and they climbed to the top of the minaret, laughing breathlessly as they leaned into the wind and looked out at the vast city.

From there, they wandered through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, feeding each other bites of hot jalebis and spicy chaat. At one point, he stole a kiss in a shadowed alley, right before surprising her with matching bracelets from a roadside stall.

Every moment felt endless. Every corner of Delhi held a piece of their story now.

But later, in the late afternoon, as they lay side by side on the grass in Lodhi Garden, the world slowed.

Isha suddenly grew quiet.

He turned to her. “What is it?”

She hesitated. “Sometimes I wonder how long this can last.”

“Don’t,” he said, voice firm but gentle.

“I mean… I have exams. You’re going for Para SF. What if life pulls us too far apart?”

Arjun turned onto his side, brushing her hair behind her ear. “Isha, I don’t want a love that’s convenient. I want a love that fights for its place.”

She blinked back tears. “I’m scared.”

He kissed her, slow and deep. “Good. That means it’s real.”

The moment passed like a storm — and in its place came calm.

Later, at sunset, he held her from behind as they watched the orange sky melt into night.

“You’re the bravest girl I’ve ever met,” he whispered. “And I’m not going anywhere.”
