chapter 4 : Good Fellows

Gerald and Mayfair travelled far beyond the borders/ boundaries of gravdak to the east end , arriving at the arac soldier quarter. Gerald had three friends 🧡 as prominent soldiers in the arac soldier quarter, two males and one female. One of the males went by the name Lucas, the other male by the name mark, while the female went by the name Suzie.

Lucas - what a delightful surprise seeing you here in this quarter, Gerald.

Gerald - hello, old friends...

Gerald introduced Mayfair to them, so he explained and stated vividly the main reason for his unusual branching at their quarter. Lucas, hearing all that Gerald had to say, decided to take him and Mayfair to the quarter head by the name Darwin. Darwin, after giving his accelerated hearing to all that they had to say and the important reason for their coming into the borders of the arac soldier quarter, decided to accept their coming.

Darwin - so, what brings you both all the way to our headquarters from the north top wing ?

Gerald - we came to ask for your assistance and for a personal favor. My friend here wants to become a soldier, so I decided to bring her here to be trained.

Darwin - so, young lady, why do you want to become a soldier? Knowing its not a child's play.

Mayfair - my passion and reason for wanting to become a soldier is to fight for my land and my people as well as my loved ones.

Darwin - hmmmmm, if that's the case, then I'll let you be trained in our headquarters, but what do I gain in return 🤔???

Mayfair - (hesitating to give an answer while she looks at Gerald and tries to say something meaningful). well, you'll gain from my service in return.

Darwin - how 🤔???

Mayfair - after I've trained here as a soldier and return to the land of gravdak , I'll still be able to assist you whenever you need me, and my loyalty will always remain here, in your quarters.

Darwin - that will be a nice offer, which means you're good to go (he said with a smile 😊 that brightened up his face). Mayfair was going to start her training session with the others the next day. Mayfair had a very hard and rough time adjusting to the military 🪖 based training. she never thought of it to be that rough and laborious, and her colleagues were even performing better than she was. Mayfair, at some point, felt discouraged 😞 although Gerald was her pushing force and her unwavering desire. Mayfair never gave up with the vigorous and intense training until she started pulling it off and began to overshadow her colleagues during the military training sessions. Mayfair started becoming close to all of Gerald's friends , lucas , Mark, and suzie as they cracked ludicrous jokes together and laughed at it 🤣 😆 😄 😂 😀 😅. Mayfair vigorously trained on her own, and during the training sessions, she made tons of points and was recognised by lucas and the others to be a good learner and would make a good and formidable soldier. the arac soldiers have a long lasted feud for the raven, a famous and influential organisation, although highly corrupt and unethical. the ravens were in charge of the black market, a place where dangerous and unorthodox weapons, substances, elixirs, tonics, and so on were sold and bought, using their fame and financial influence to get away with their crimes and evil deeds. lucas and his arac team found out about another dangerous object that the raven's were chasing after in order for it to be sold in the black ⚫️ market. In order to carry out this secretive job and execute it properly, lucas hired the good fellows, three profound hagglers, good at bargains, and getting the job done whether it involves leaving their hands clean or getting it dirty. they planned on meeting together at the monarch's regal gala.
