After wiping his tears in the empty classroom, Taehyung fixed his hair, took a deep breath, and walked out like nothing happened. His heart still ached, but his steps were steady.
He entered the classroom, eyes scanning the room briefly before landing on Jungkook—already seated near the window, eyes locked on him. But Taehyung didn’t stop. He turned his gaze away and walked past him like he was invisible.
He went straight to the back and sat beside Jimin.
Jungkook’s fists clenched under the desk. Watching Taehyung walk past him without a glance made his blood boil. Seeing him sit beside Jimin, smiling faintly as if nothing happened, only made it worse.
The professor entered then, halting all movement as the lecture began. Jungkook couldn’t concentrate. His eyes kept drifting to the back of the class where Jimin leaned toward Taehyung, whispering something that made Taehyung chuckle lightly.
When the bell rang for lunch break, students stood and gathered their things. Taehyung got up with Jimin and walked out without looking back even once.
In the canteen, Jimin bought two drinks and slid one across the table to Taehyung. He looked at him properly now—really looked.
PARK JIMIN
What happened, Tae? Your eyes… they’re red. Were you crying?
Taehyung hesitated, then lowered his voice and told him everything. The moment Jungkook dragged him to the empty classroom, the way he pinned him to the wall, the fight, the silence, the storm in Jungkook’s eyes—and how he left without saying anything.
Jimin leaned back and crossed his arms.
PARK JIMIN
Then forget him
PARK JIMIN
(grinning):
Ignore him. Make him jealous. He wants to act like that? Let him see what it feels like when someone else has your attention.
Taehyung looked at him, the corner of his lip twitching slightly. A small spark lit in his chest.
Maybe it was time Jungkook felt what it was like to be the one hurting.
