The Doubt Within the Camp

Aurevia clenches her fists. Her breath shakes. Her eyes sting—but she doesn’t let tears fall.

Suddenly, a soft silver glow begins behind her.

LIORA appears in the shadows of the tent. No one else sees her — only Aurevia. Her voice is quiet and firm.

LIORA (softly)

Say it louder, Aurevia.

Not for them.

For the girl who trained when no one watched.

Aurevia raises her head. Steps forward. Her voice, now stronger. Everybody lesson we are not in playground or somewhere else. we are in war field.

AUREVIA

I am not here because of blood.

I am here because I have studied war longer than some of you have held a sword.

You may laugh at me now…

but tomorrow, when the enemy surrounds you —

you will beg for the plan I gave tonight.

For these plan I researched some many ancient books and got guidance from great grand king. can you plan able to defeat enemy come front and say ur plan. I am ready to leason ur idea and plan. Anybody ready with idea.

The tent falls into stunned silence.

Liora nods in the background, proud. A few of the younger commanders glance at each other — and slowly lean toward the map.

---

COMMANDER #4 (softly)

…what did you say about the eastern flank?

Aurevia turns back to the map, her fingers moving across the parchment like a queen claiming her crown.

EXT. WAR CAMP – TRAINING FIELD – DAY

Rows of warriors stand in armor. Dust kicks up as feet move. For the first time — the soldiers are silent, alert, focused. Why?

PRINCESS AUREVIA stands in the center of the field — fierce, poised, and confident.

She raises her hand. Beside her, a tall training dummy made of armored wood stands.

AUREVIA (loudly)

Most of you know one way to strike — straight and loud.

But your enemies… they know how you fight.

She picks up a small wooden dagger.

AUREVIA

But they don’t know how I fight.

In a flash, she spins — using an ancient whirl-strike move — slicing the dummy at its weakest joint. The armor splits and clatters to the ground.

Gasps.

YOUNG SOLDIER (whispers)

What… was that?

AUREVIA

The Crescent Fade.

Taught to me by an old monk who walked without sound.

She turns, face unreadable.

AUREVIA

Train like this — or be remembered as another sword buried in sand.

No laughter this time. Only silence — and then the sound of many swords being raised.

INT. AUREVIA’S TENT – NIGHT

Moonlight spills across the silk fabric of her tent. Candles flicker. Armor lies neatly beside her cot. Princess Aurevia sleeps deeply, her sword still sheathed but close.

Outside, the shadows shift.

Three masked enemy soldiers silently slip past the guards and into the tent. Their voices are low and mocking.

ENEMY SOLDIER 1 (snickering)

So this is the mighty commander…?

ENEMY SOLDIER 2

She’s just a child. Glowing like some temple doll.

ENEMY SOLDIER 3

Shall we play a game, little princess?

They step closer.
