Chapter 4:Viktor

I sat in my office, my thoughts consumed by Emilia. I hadn't missed the way she moved through Vinnie's work. I told her to quit and let me take care of her and her brother. I called Sergei to my office and after a few minutes he walked in.

"you called me sir?"

"yes, I want you to keep tabs on Emilia, watch her every move and protect her from the shadows. She cannot see you and then I want you reporting back to me."

"yes sir. Anything else?"

"make sure Vinnie doesn't put his hands on her."

Sergei nodded and he left my office. I didn't want Emilia working for Vinnie. He was weak and I had all the power and Emilia, well she was perfect, innocent and so beautiful.

Sergei followed Emilia, he followed her through the dim streets. He started reporting back to me about her interactions with Vinnie's people and clients.

The next day, Sergei walked in my office and reported about Emilia.

"She's still working for him."

"fucking hell!! Anything else?!

"She has the help of Vinnie's best guy, Oliver. He's always with her, making sure she does follows the rules."

"did he touch her?!!"

"I don't think so. But he does get close to her."

I dismissed Sergei from my office. My blood was boiling, I threw the glass filled with whiskey against the wall. I'd make Emilia come to me whether it's in a friendly way or not. Even if I have to tie her to the bed.

That same night Sergei messaged me saying that Emilia was at the warehouse with Oliver and a few other men. I got in my car and drove as fast as I could. About 10 minutes I arrived at the warehouse, and there I saw Vinnie. He was talking to Oliver and Emilia. She looked at me and her eyes widen. Then Vinnie turned to me and smiled."

"Well, well, well, look what we have here. What brings you to my warehouse Viktor?"

"I didn't come for you, Vinnie. I came here for Emilia."

"And what do you want with her?"

"just to talk."

"You have 5 minutes. If longer I will knock you out."

I rolled my eyes and looked at Emilia. I grabbed her hand and walked outside where there was no one. She looked up at me with her green eyes and I couldn't help but look at her lips.

"what do you want Viktor?!"

"you thought about my offer, Amorina?"

"yes."

"so what's it going to be? You and your brother being safe with me or you getting killed by Vinnie?"

"if I say yes to your offer, what happens?"

"I'll have my men sent to your house to pack all yours and your brother's belongings. I'll have Sergei take Tyler to the Mansion where he's safe. Then I'll take you and you can do whatever you want as long as you have two bodyguards with you whenever you go out."

Emilia nodded her head and I felt excited. She'll be staying me.
