(Rupsa’s throat goes dry. She bows her head, hands trembling as she walks to her desk. As she places the file down, her pen falls to the floor. No one says a word.)

We maintain discipline here! From your attitude, one might think you’re the CEO and I’m the security guard!”

(Piyasa stares in shock, then bursts out laughing!)

😂 Piyasa (laughing hard):

“Girl! If Boss had heard that, not only would you be fired — he might have married you right then and there!”

(Rupsa freezes for a second, then laughs too.)

Rupsa (frowning playfully):

“Ugh, marry him? That cold-blooded, attitude-loaded robot? I’d rather die!”

😂 Piyasa (winking):

“Robot, huh? But his eyes were stuck on you a little too long… maybe the Love Virus is spreading?”

(Rupsa stares wide-eyed, then slams her head onto the desk.)

Rupsa:

“Shut up, Piyasa. One day I will teach this boss of mine what Rupsa Sen really is!”

[Far away in the glass cabin, Hriday sips his coffee. His eyes drift toward Rupsa. His face is unreadable, but for a split second, the cup lingers near his lips… motionless.]

“I’ve been thinking about what you said this morning. Are you really serious about getting married?”

Hriday (leaning back, without looking up):

“Yes. I’m going to get married.”

Young Man (shocked):

“Seriously? Just like that?”

Hriday (calmly):

“I want a contract marriage. Six months. That’s it. No strings attached.”

Young Man (bursting out laughing):

“Contract marriage?! What kind of drama are you starting now?”

Hriday (smirking):

“It’s not drama. It’s a necessity. I have my reasons. I just need someone for six months — someone I can trust, who won’t create extra mess.”

(Outside, Rupsa can’t hear anything, but the animated discussion inside sparks her curiosity. Piyasa whispers.)

“What do you think, Rupu? Who do you think Boss wants to marry for six months?”

👩‍💼 Rupsa (averting her gaze):

“I don’t know… don’t want to know. Just hearing that robot-potato’s plans gives me a headache.”

(Suddenly, the cabin door opens. The young man walks out with a mysterious smile. Hriday remains seated, his cold gaze lingering on Rupsa for a moment.)

“I plan everything properly. My family is pressuring me for some reasons. This is the most logical solution. No emotions involved.”

Friend:

“So who are you considering for this… ‘logical’ arrangement?”

Hriday (thinking briefly):

“Piyasa. She’s smart, calm… won’t create sudden drama.”

(Friend bursts out laughing.)

Friend (mocking slightly):

“Piyasa? Bro, she’s your employee, not your babysitter. And your family? They need more than smart — they need someone who can handle them.”

(Hriday looks annoyed.)

Hriday:

“Then tell me — who? Who has the guts to manage me and my family?”

(Friend smiles and glances at the window, where Rupsa is walking by with a file.)

Friend (narrowing eyes):

“Rupsa.”

Hriday (frowning):

“Rupsa?! That irritating copy-cat girl?”

Friend:

“Exactly! I wouldn’t call her irritating — I’d call her adaptable. Whatever you say, her ears get red, but then she mimics you exactly. That means she can survive your world.”

Hriday (silent for a moment, then cold smile forming):

“…Interesting.”
