"Sweetheart, what if your dad doesn't like me?"

Aura looked uneasy as her boyfriend was about to introduce her to his future father-in-law.

Since being picked up, Aura had looked tense and her hands felt cold with nervousness.

"Don't worry, honey, my dad is a good man," Mario's answer didn't reassure Aura.

"Relax, don't be tense... we're going to meet my dad, not a wild beast," Mario said while caressing the back of his lover's hand.

Aura took a few breaths and exhaled until she felt a little calmer.

Aura just sighed and smiled, the woman became more confident after being sure that she was worthy of Mario.

The two walked side by side to the large and tall door, until the big door opened and the figure of a middle-aged woman appeared opening it.

"Good evening, Master Mario," greeted the middle-aged woman who Aura believed was the housemaid of Mario's dad.

"Evening, bik, is dad home yet?" Mario asked as he walked in holding Aura's hand.

"Yes, Master, Sir is still in his room, come..."

The woman smiled at the beautiful woman who was the lover of her master's son.

The three of them headed to the dining table which had been prepared with dishes that had many menus.

Aura was momentarily stunned, but she remembered who her lover was. Surely this much food meant nothing to people with a lot of money.

"Please sit down, Sir, I'll call the master first."

Mario pulled out a chair for Aura to sit down, "Thank you, honey," Aura said with a smile to Mario.

"You're welcome," Mario returned the smile and sat beside Aura.

Until the two heard footsteps descending the stairs, Aura stood up for a moment when she saw a tall, upright figure who still looked handsome and dashing walking towards the dining table. Aura was even speechless seeing the handsome man with his mature charm.

"Dad, this is Aura, Mario's lover," Mario immediately touched Aura's waist possessively.

The handsome man with a firm face and sharp gaze looked at the woman introduced by his son for a moment.

"Good evening, Uncle.." Aura greeted nervously, her smile looking stiff.

"Evening, Aura.." Mario's dad replied briefly.

Mario invited Aura to sit down while holding his woman's hand which felt cold.

"Enjoy, sweetheart," Mario whispered beside Aura's ear.

Aura smiled stiffly and sat back down with a nervous expression.

"Dad, my lover is scared to see your expression like that,"

Mario's words immediately made Aura look at her lover.

Meanwhile, Mario seemed to chuckle innocently.

Haikal seemed to sigh, glancing at Aura who was sitting as if under pressure.

"Just relax, Aura, people who see me for the first time are like that." Haikal said, smiling faintly.

Aura nodded slightly, and they passed dinner with light conversation, more precisely Mario talked more while Aura was mostly silent if not asked.

"So Aura actually works at my dad's branch office," Mario said, informing.

Aura herself was quite surprised to hear that, during her time working as a secretary she didn't know that the office where she worked was owned by her lover's father.

Meanwhile, Mario just smiled, he had never told his lover about the office where she worked. Because Mario himself works at the head office with his father.

"So what part do you work in, Aura?" Haikal asked without looking at Aura, the mature man was still enjoying the food in front of him casually.

Aura herself judged that the man sitting in front of her was too young to have a child Mario's age.

'Ah, why am I thinking about him, maybe he got married young when he got Mario,' Aura thought.

"Em, I'm Mr. Enggar's secretary," Aura replied politely.

Haikal's head nodded, "Yes, Enggar is a good boss, I hope you enjoy it."

Aura nodded.

Arriving at the apartment, Aura threw herself on the bed, after Mario took her to the front door, the woman immediately entered the room.

"Not too bad of an introduction," Aura muttered, remembering her meeting with Haikal Mario's father earlier.

Aura sighed, "So all this time I've been working at Mario's father's company, why didn't I know." She said again while staring at the ceiling of the room.

"How much wealth does Mario's family have, why am I so insecure," she muttered again with a weighing mind.

"Ahh, why am I thinking about everything now, didn't I already know before, besides Mario knows my situation and he doesn't mind it."

Ting

Aura grabbed her phone which rang with a message notification coming in again.

Blue sky...

"How is it, isn't it okay...you were well received, right?"

Aura widened her smile reading the message from someone she named Blue Sky. Because the man's profile picture only has blue clouds forming a love.

"Hu'um, it turns out my anxiety was unfounded, he's good, and I also didn't expect that all this time I've been working at my lover's father's office."

Aura seemed happy to tell about her meeting earlier, without really knowing who the man she named Blue Sky was.
