Episode 5: Heat Under the Helmet

🌙 Episode 5: “Heat Under the Helmet”

Theme: Intimacy builds, close contact, temptation, emotional pressure.

[Scene 1 – Location: Private Set on a Mountain Resort]

Alya is scheduled for an overnight shoot at a resort in Chiang Mai. Due to a sudden landslide, all transport routes are blocked.

Production Manager:

“All cast and crew can’t leave tonight. We’ll sleep here. Everyone finds a room.”

Assistant:

“We only have one room left.”

Alya (smirking):

“Guess I’m bunking with my personal batman.”

Tawan silently accepts.

[Scene 2 – Shared Room, Dim Lighting]

The room is cozy, one queen-sized bed, soft lighting from a single lamp. Alya takes the bed first.

Tawan lays out a sleeping bag on the floor in one corner. Alya peeks over the edge.

Alya (teasing):

“You’re sleeping on the floor? What am I, a dictator?”

Tawan (modulated voice):

“I don’t mix work with personal comfort.”

Alya (grinning):

“That sentence almost made me more curious.”

Tawan doesn’t answer.

[Scene 3 – Midnight Heat]

The air conditioner fails. The room heats up.

Alya kicks off her blanket and fans herself dramatically.

Alya:

“It’s like a sauna in here. Aren’t you dying under all that gear?”

Tawan, still helmeted, doesn’t move. But sweat drips down her neck beneath the suit.

Alya:

“You know what? I’m opening the window.”

She walks over and opens it, but slips slightly on the rug. Tawan rushes forward and catches her — one hand on her waist, the other braced against the wall behind her.

Their faces are inches apart.

Alya (quietly):

“…You always catch me.”

A long pause.

Alya:

“Even when I fell in love with you.”

Tawan slowly lets go and steps back.

Tawan:

“You should rest.”

Alya:

“I’d rest better if you weren’t so good at running.”

[Scene 4 – Early Morning]

Alya wakes up tangled in her blanket — and sees a glass of warm lemon water on the bedside table. Her eyes water.

Alya (softly):

“…You are her. I know it.”

She rushes out, barefoot, searching for her guard — only to find Tawan already geared up at the balcony, watching the sun rise over the misty trees.

Alya:

“If you’re not her… why do you do these things like she did?”

Tawan remains silent.

Alya:

“You move like her. Breathe like her. Care like her.”

She walks closer, chest rising.

Alya:

“If you are her… tell me now.

Because I’m already falling again.

And I won’t survive if you walk away twice.”

Tawan’s fists tighten. But she says nothing. Her silence says everything.

[Scene 5 – Tawan Alone in the Bathroom (Later)]

Tawan finally removes her helmet. She stares at herself in the mirror — hair wet from sweat, eyes clouded.

She whispers softly:

Tawan:

“She deserves better than a shadow.”

Final Scene – Alya on the Balcony, Alone

She sits where Tawan once stood, arms wrapped around her knees, whispering into the cold air:

Alya:

“If you are her…

then why are you still hiding from me?”
