Meeting Benjamin

"Moon's eyes widened as she collided with a tall, broad-shouldered figure in the cafeteria. Her books and lunch scattered across the floor. The boy, Benjamin, towered over her, his piercing blue eyes locking onto hers with a mixture of surprise and amusement.'Whoa, easy there,' he said, his deep voice rumbling as he helped her gather her belongings.

Moon's cheeks flushed as she apologized, her eyes darting to his chiseled features. She felt a flutter in her chest, but quickly suppressed it, attributing it to embarrassment.

Benjamin, however, seemed intrigued by the awkward encounter. He flashed a charming smile, and Moon's heart skipped a beat.

"Moon's hands moved quickly, gathering her books and lunch without meeting Benjamin's gaze. 'Thanks,' she muttered, her voice barely audible. She straightened, her eyes fixed on her belongings, avoiding Benjamin's charming smile.

Benjamin, however, didn't seem ready to let the encounter end. 'You're okay?' he asked, his tone genuinely concerned.Moon nodded, still not looking up. 'Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks.'Benjamin chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. 'Alright, well, watch out for speeding boys like me in the future.'

Moon's gaze flicked up, meeting his for a brief moment before she nodded and hastily departed, leaving Benjamin looking intrigued."

"Benjamin watched Moon disappear into the crowd, a thoughtful expression on his face. He couldn't recall the last time a girl hadn't fawned all over him. Moon's indifference was refreshing, yet intriguing. He wondered what made her tick, what lay beneath her quirky exterior.

As he stood there, lost in thought, Benjamin's friends called out to him, teasing him about his latest conquest. But he waved them off, his mind still on Moon. Who was she? Why didn't she seem to care about him?

Benjamin's curiosity was piqued. He decided to find out more about the mysterious girl who hadn't swooned over him."

"Benjamin approached a group of students lingering near the cafeteria entrance. 'Hey, guys, do any of you know that girl?' he asked, describing Moon's quirky style and book-filled backpack.

One of the students raised an eyebrow. 'You mean Moon? She's kinda...unique. Doesn't really hang out much.'

Benjamin's interest piqued. 'Moon, huh? What's her story?'

The student leaned in. 'Word is, she's a total bookworm. Always studying, never parties. Some people call her the campus virgin.'

Benjamin's eyes narrowed. 'Campus virgin?'

The student shrugged. 'Yeah, she's just not really into the social scene, you know?'

Benjamin's curiosity grew. He wanted to know more about this enigmatic girl who didn't seem to care about his charm."

"Benjamin nodded thoughtfully, his mind racing with ideas. He thanked the students for the information and walked away, determined to find a way to meet Moon again. Perhaps they had a class in common? Or a mutual friend?

As he strolled across campus, Benjamin spotted a flyer for a study group focused on literature. His eyes lit up – Moon had been carrying a thick novel in her backpack. He tore off a tab from the flyer with the study group's meeting time and place.

'Looks like fate's giving me a second chance,' Benjamin thought, a plan forming in his mind.

He decided to attend the study group, hoping to 'accidentally' bump into Moon again and strike up a conversation."
