[Present]
[She ran.]
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
(growling weakly): “Leave… Go away…”
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(dropping beside him): “You’re shot! You need a doctor—”
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
“Don’t… touch me—”
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(firmly, eyes fierce): “Shut up. You’ll bleed out in five minutes if I don’t clamp this.”
[ He was stunned.]
[No fear. No trembling.]
[Just eyes that were angry at his condition — and hands already tearing open her small purse to grab gloves and a sterile kit she always kept.]
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(quickly): “Bullet’s gone through. You’re lucky. I need to stop the bleeding.”
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
(gritting his teeth): “You shouldn’t be here. This place… this world… it’ll destroy you.”
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(without pausing): “You don’t get to tell me where I belong. You’re just a patient right now.”
[He stared at her.]
[That stubborn set of her jaw. The way she didn’t flinch at his blood. The softness in her voice… paired with steel.]
[She pressed into the wound, hard.]
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
(groaning): “You enjoy causing pain?”
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(softly): “Only when the man is arrogant and bleeding.”
[He almost laughed. Almost.]
[ ⏳ 20 Minutes Later]
[She had wrapped him tight. Made a crude sling. His shirt was torn, soaked, but the bleeding was contained.]
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
“You need to go to a hospital. I can—”
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
(cutting her off): “No hospitals. No police.”
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(suspicious): “Who are you?”
[Silence.]
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
“No one.”
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(challenging): “I just saved your life. At least give me a name.”
[He looked at her — for real, this time.]
[His dark eyes lingered on the curve of her cheek, her pink lips, the small birthmark on her neck, the stray hair clinging to her forehead from mist and sweat.]
[And in the calmest, slowest voice, he said:]
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
“I’ll tell you next time.”
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(frowning): “There won’t be a next time.”
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
(a ghost of a smile): “There always is.”
[She watched as he stood, tall despite the pain, and limped away.]
[No thank you. No name.]
[But something in her chest… burned.]

[ Later abhi's men found him and took him to his villa .]
[Inside Abhimanyu’s Private Villa — 1:37 AM]
[The black SUV screeched through the gates, headlights piercing the fog as— Abhimanyu Raichand — was rushed inside, his arm still clutched to his side. He didn’t speak. He didn’t need to.]
[Four of his men opened the main doors like a royal procession. The marble floor echoed with hurried footsteps.]
[Inside, the villa was already prepared — silent, dim, antiseptic. The family doctor stood waiting near the living room with his kit already opened.]

(frowning): “What the hell happened? I told you this lifestyle would get you shot someday.”
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
(coldly): “Treat it. Save the lecture.”
[He was laid down on the long leather couch. His shirt was soaked, the temporary bandages now visible.]
[But when the doctor slowly peeled away the makeshift wrappings, he stopped.]
[Eyes narrowing.]
[Hands still.]
doctor armaan
doctor armaan
(quietly stunned): “Who treated this?”
[Ram said nothing. His breathing was still ragged.]
doctor armaan

“Abhimanyu, these bandages weren’t done in the field. They’re surgical. Clean lines. Compression at the perfect angle. Whoever did this knew your anatomy and where to apply pressure.”
[He looked up. Smirking faintly.]

“You sure you weren’t picked up by some off-duty ER angel?”
[Ram’s eyes narrowed. His jaw flexed.]
[The memory of her flickered again.]
[That girl. The one with eyes too soft for this world, yet a will sharper than any knife.]
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
(mutters): “She didn’t tell me her name.”
doctor armaan

“Well, she just saved your life better than I could have in the middle of a street. Whoever she is… she’s good.”

[🖤 Abhimanyu’s POV — Later That Night]
[He sat alone in the dark corner of his study, the fire throwing flickering shadows across his face.]
[A whiskey glass untouched on the table.]
NovelToon
[The white bandage still fresh on his torso — but his mind wasn't on the wound.]
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
"She touched me like I wasn’t feared. She spoke like I was just human. Who the hell are you, alley girl?"
[He clenched the glass.]
Abhi ( ml )
Abhi ( ml )
"Why did your hands shake only once... when you looked into my eyes?"
[He remembered the press of her palm to his wound. The slight tremble in her voice when she told him to hold still. The way her lips had tightened when he resisted. The way she refused to leave.]
[He recognized her when she first came in the light.]
[He wondered how can the girl he saw behind the restaurant with child – so kind and sad.....be so different today – stubborn and fearless .]
---
[Meanwhile – Piya’s POV]
[She stood in her bathroom, staring at her stained coat hanging on the wall — her favorite one, now ruined from that night.]
NovelToon
[Her hands were still stained from his blood, even after multiple washes. She didn’t know his name. His story. His past.]
[But his eyes— cold, unreadable, yet burning — refused to leave her mind.]
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
(thinking): “Why did I help him? I didn’t even know if he was good or bad.”
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
“But he looked… like no one ever stayed to help him.”
[Her breath hitched as she remembered the way he’d looked at her — with something almost… reverent. Disbelief and need tangled in silence.]
[She closed her eyes, leaning her head against the bathroom tiles.]
Piya ( fl)
Piya ( fl)
“Don’t be foolish, Piya.” “That man belongs to a world you swore never to touch again.”
[But deep in her chest, something ached.]
[Something she couldn't explain.]
