Episode - 5

jihun kang 🥃

"Ahh, what a boring day! New day, nothing fun. I’m kind of pissed off. Bullying students—there was no fun, ha!"

“Fix your posture, your body isn’t comfortable,” he muttered as he lay down on three students, forcing them to form a chair for him. The students trembled, their bodies shaking, afraid to move—until one of them did.

jihun kicked him hard.

"jihun! jihun!" someone shouted loudly.

"Who is this? Don’t you know how to shut your mouth? I’m resting," jihun snapped.

"jihun…" she sniffled, "That new girl... the little b*h insulted me!"

"Who sis?" he asked.

"Ella, she was a new student and my boyfriend ex .

( the girl bully Ella was jihun sister somin kang)

" Ooh Ella"

somin (the bully):

"she picked a fight with me in the café... and she made me cry?

Hey, she’s the new student, and you’re siding with her? How shameful."

"She insulted your sister, and you're still protecting her?

Don't you think she deserves to be punished?"

jihun(calm but cold):

"Girls fighting, huh? I am not Interested..."

"Fine. Then I’ll tell Father everything that happened... next week."

"Don’t shoot your mouth off!"

"Okay, calm down. I won't do that—if you help me."

"Okay... I’ll help you."

Ella Thomas—

It’s my time now."

Ella Thomas 🌸

– At Home

“What an exhausting day,” I sighed, kicking off my shoes.

“Hey! Let’s watch a drama together,” sana called out.

“Yes! But only if we have snacks to go with it.”

“Yeah, but… the snacks are all gone.”

“It’s okay, you pick the drama—I’ll run to the store and grab some!”

“Okay~”

I walked to the nearby store and grabbed a bunch of snacks.

“This one, this one... oh, and this one too! Yes, this is going to be so much fun!”

After paying, I headed back to my apartment building.

As I stepped into the elevator, I suddenly saw Jihun already inside.

Oh. My. God. What’s he doing here...?

“Hello,” I said, trying to sound casual.

“.....”

He didn’t reply.

Feeling awkward, I stepped into the lift, pressed my floor number, and glanced at him again.

“You’re going to this floor too?” I asked.

“Yes,” he finally said.

“Oh... so we’re neighbors?”

He stayed silent again.

The elevator doors opened. I stepped out and walked to my apartment.

Jihun stayed behind.

Wow. What a day…

Today was my first day living in a comic book. I met both the main leads.

What is life even trying to tell me right now?

I tossed the snacks on the table and flopped onto the couch.

“Why are you smiling like that?” sana asked, raising an eyebrow.

“You won’t believe who I saw in the elevator just now.”

“Who?”

“Jihun.”

“Wait—that Jihun? The cold guy from class?”

I nodded. “He didn’t say much... but guess what? He lives on the same floor.”

“No way! Are we in a romance drama?”

“I don’t know what this is, but the plot’s moving fast,” I said, opening a bag of chips.

That night, I couldn’t sleep. My thoughts kept drifting back to his face in the elevator…

So calm. So serious. So annoyingly handsome.

“Ugh, Ella, stop it,” I muttered, turning in bed. “He didn’t even say hi properly.”

Next Morning – School

I walked into class, still half-asleep.

Then I froze.

Jihun was already sitting there... in my seat.

“Umm... that’s my spot,” I said, trying to sound polite.

He looked up lazily. “Not today.”

“What?”

He leaned forward slightly. “I’m not in the mood to deal with annoying people today, so sit somewhere else.”

My jaw dropped. Did he just call me annoying?

Before I could say anything, someone else stepped in.

“Jihun, stop being rude,” said a calm voice.

I turned and saw—yuri.

Oh great.

The second male lead just entered the scene.

yuri pulled out a chair beside him and looked at me.

"Sit here, Ella," he said gently.

I hesitated but then nodded, settling beside him—still glaring at Jihun.

Jihun didn’t even look our way.

Tch. What’s with that cold attitude? First the elevator, now this?

After class, I tried to sneak out quickly, but of course... fate had other plans.

somin stood at the gate, arms crossed, flipping her hair dramatically.

“Ella Thomas,” she called out loud enough for half the school to hear.

Oh no. Not again.

I walked past her, pretending I didn’t hear—

Until she blocked my path.

"You're awfully close to the boys these days," she said with a smug smile.

" huh, what are you trying to say?"

"I'm just going to lunch," I replied calmly, trying to step around her.

She smirked. "Lunch? Or chasing Jihun and yuri both?"

That stung.

But before I could snap back—

“somin, move.”

It was Jihun.

She turned, clearly flustered. "Oh, Jihun~ I was just—"

“I wasn’t talking to you.”

His voice was sharp. Cold.

Then he looked straight at me.

“I’ll walk you to lunch.”

Huh??

Excuse me, what?!

I blinked, confused.

somin stood frozen.

yuri, walking up behind us, raised an eyebrow.

“Wow,” he said casually. “Looks like I’m late for the party.”

I had no idea what was happening, but one thing was clear—

This story was no longer just about me.

It was turning into a triangle.

A messy, dangerous triangle.
