Chapter one :the howl in the forest

The moon hung low in the sky, swollen and heavy like it carried a secret too ancient to bear. It was Aria’s twenty-first birthday — a quiet celebration in the sleepy town of Silverpine, marked only by a cake from her foster parents and an eerie stillness in the air. She had always felt... different. But tonight, it was as if something in her blood had finally awakened.She couldn’t sleep. Her skin felt hot, her senses too sharp. A howl.

A wolf. Huge. Black as night and watching her like it knew her. It didn’t growl. It didn’t move. It simply stared.

And then it bowed its head.Her heart thudded.

But the scream came out a howl.

Far away, deep in the mountains of Enigma, King Kael Raventhorn opened his eyes. His wolf stirred beneath his skin, restless and wild.

“She’s awakened,” he murmured.

His Beta, Dorian, turned to him in shock. “The Moon’s daughter?”
