Episode 3: College Drama & Secret Desires
Jungkook's life at college was chaotic, to say the least. Between assignments, annoying professors, and his best friend Jimin constantly dragging him into unnecessary drama, he barely had time to breathe.
"You will not believe what just happened," Jimin huffed, slamming his books on the cafeteria table as Jungkook took a sip of his iced coffee.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Did Yoongi ignore your texts again?"
Jimin gasped dramatically. "Excuse you! My boyfriend actually adores me, thank you very much. Unlike you, who's still single because of your ridiculously high standards."
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "I do have standards. I refuse to date someone just because I'm bored."
"Well, that's your problem, babe. No excitement in life."
Jungkook smirked. If only Jimin knew.
Ever since his uncle-his ridiculously handsome, powerful, and annoyingly mysterious uncle-came back, Jungkook couldn't stop thinking about him. It was wrong. Completely wrong. But the way Taehyung carried himself, the way his sharp eyes followed Jungkook in a way that wasn't just familial-it was making him lose his mind.
Not to mention, the tension between them was unbearable.
"Earth to Jungkook?" Jimin waved a hand in front of his face. "Are you even listening?"
"Yeah, yeah, something about me being single-"
"Ugh, you're hopeless," Jimin groaned. "Anyway, we have a party at Yoongi's place this Friday. You're coming."
Jungkook sighed. "I have assignments-"
Jimin slammed his palm on the table. "No excuses. You need to let loose."
Jungkook rolled his eyes but smiled. "Fine. But if it's boring, I'm leaving."
Jimin grinned. "Trust me, with me around? It's never boring."
Episode 4: The Party & A Jealous Mafia King
The party at Yoongi's apartment was packed. Music thumped through the walls, students crowded the living room, and the smell of alcohol filled the air. Jungkook wasn't much of a party person, but Jimin had dragged him there, so he figured he might as well enjoy it.
"Hey, Jungkook!" A guy from his class, Minho, approached him with a flirtatious smile. "Didn't expect to see you here."
Jungkook smiled back. "Yeah, Jimin forced me."
Minho chuckled. "Well, lucky me. Want a drink?"
Jungkook hesitated but nodded. "Sure."
Minho handed him a beer, their fingers brushing slightly. Jungkook didn't think much of it-until he felt a very familiar presence.
Cold. Intense. Dangerous.
He turned his head slowly.
Taehyung.
His uncle stood near the entrance, arms crossed, his sharp eyes locked onto Jungkook with an expression way too dark for someone just casually observing.
Jungkook swallowed. "What the hell is he doing here?"
Jimin followed his gaze and nearly choked on his drink. "Oh, shit. Your uncle found you?"
Jungkook felt his heart race. Taehyung's jaw was tight, his entire body language screaming possessiveness.
Minho, oblivious to the tension, smiled at Jungkook. "Wanna dance?"
Jungkook opened his mouth to respond-
But then, Taehyung was there.
Hand gripping Jungkook's wrist, voice low and commanding.
"You're coming with me."
Jungkook froze. The entire room suddenly felt too small, the music too loud.
"Uh, I-"
Taehyung's grip tightened. "Now."
Minho frowned. "Hey, dude-"
Taehyung shot him a glare so deadly Minho actually took a step back.
Jungkook sighed. "Fine."
As Taehyung dragged him outside, Jungkook couldn't help but shiver. Not from the cold.
But from the way Taehyung's grip burned against his skin.
And the way his voice sent shivers down Jungkook's spine.
This wasn't just family concern.
This was something else entirely.
