“Quite the view!” Maiy said while looking at Serene's angry face. “Uhmm... Serene? Sorry, I didn't know you two were on bad terms.” Kieya worryingly said when she saw Serene's expression.

Serene shook her head when she heard Kieya apologizing, “no, it's fine. This is Maiy Farrhen, my sister.”

Kieya, slowly looked back at the woman. She bowed as a sign of respect and introduced herself. “I'm Kieya Achil, Serene's friend. It's nice to meet you, Miss Maiy.” Maiy stared at her and whispered, “friend, huh?” Serene was caught off guard while Kieya looked confused.

“Why are you here?” Serene said. She was annoyed with Maiy's presence. It bothered her. Maiy looked at Kieya and her gaze went back to Serene. She chuckled. It was cold, with no hint of happiness in it. She saw Serene's darkening expression and she grinned. She stood up and left the café.

“Serene, are you alright?” Kieya said. Serene simply nodded and smiled at her.

“Everything will continue, just as we planned.” Serene seriously said to Aki. He fixed his glasses and said, “Of course”.

Three months later...

Everything stayed the same. Maiy was there but she didn't interfere with anything. She would sometimes come to Kieya's Café to annoy Serene but that was it. Aki monitored her every move.

“Where's Serene?”, Maiy asked Aki. “Where do you think?”, he said.

Maiy smirked and sat on Serene's chair, “let me guess. That girl's coffee shop, right? Is she serious? Aki, why are you doing this? Knowing that idiot, she'll probably fall for that girl. That's kinda out of the question right now, I mean look at her. That look will never be called 'the look of a friend'. How laughable! Befriending and eventually falling for that man's daughter, how absurd!”

Aki listened to everything. He might even agree with Maiy. Serene went too far with her plan and didn't stop as promised. Aki looked at his keyboard, thinking that Serene is most definitely with Kieya right now, having a date. Not that Kieya knows, Aki branded her as a dense woman. “You must understand.” He said in a very low voice.

Maiy blink once. Her smiling face turned into a cold, distant expression. “I can't.”

“H~i! Want a ride? I was wondering if I could talk to you. About Serene.” Maiy said to Kieya.

“Miss Maiy! Hello.” Kieya replied. “Just Maiy is fine. You're my sister's friend, so I hope you wouldn't be so formal with me.” Kieya smiled at her.

Kieya recalled her conversation with Serene. She was warning her not to talk to Maiy. But she was curious. She hopped in Maiy's car and they drove off.

Serene and Aki was in a conference at that time. After finishing the talks of business, Aki got a call from one of the bodyguards assigned to Kieya. They reported that Kieya was in Maiy's car and they went to a port.
