Anya was completely shocked by Raunak's behavior. She couldn’t understand what had gone wrong. The boy who made her heart race — the one who made her feel safe — had suddenly walked away without a word of explanation.
After school hours, she waited quietly, hoping to see him, hoping to hear anything that made sense. But Raunak never showed up.
Anya eventually got tired and walked away, eyes low, heart heavy.
