Family's death

Amelia sat opposite Uncle Mona at his office. The atmosphere was tense as usual just as it was whenever they met.

The study had a mixture of modern and olden decor. She tried to avoid his intense gaze on her only to be welcomed by the intimidating bull's head on the wall. She flinched at the sight of it. It had always been something she had the urge to take it down ever since she stepped foot in his study.

"You know you don't have time right?" came the voice of Mr. Mona. His voice was so empty and carried no emotions at all. Same could be said for his eyes.

Amelia widened her eyes at his words. Not that she was displeased or something...she was just surprised. However she kept a straight face regardless whatever she did.

She absolutely knew what her uncle was talking about. Her parents were killed and sister were killed leaving her an orphan with nothing except her uncle's loving family kind enough to take her in...and yes she didn't have time.

Lost in thoughts, she nodded. Lifting her head up she looked right into her uncle's eyes.

"What to do..."she said with visible danger dancing in her eyes.

She had to get revenge...every time she talked about her family, she fought the urge not to burst down into tears. The burning rage inside her was just making her stronger and stronger.

Mr. Mona tossed a file to her and without wasting a second she took it. Her gaze hardened as he kept looking at the information in the file.

In the file was the portrait of two young men.

One was just ordinarily handsome but the other was breathtaking.

OMG!!! She screamed inside her head...well it was a sinister scream anyway.

He possessed a pair of unusual red eyes and tousled hair which made him look sexy as hell. He had extraordinary facial features.

Whatever she just couldn't let their faces deceive her.

"Roman Raven and Kenneth Raven..."her voice trailed off...her voice carried something hateful which fingers couldn't be pointed on.

A subtle arc curved on her lips and she clenched her fist. She looked cold and bloodthirsty.

"Kenneth is the one behind the death of your family. He is currently competing with his ruthless bloodthirsty and mysterious younger brother for the position as head of the Raven family "Mr. Mona explained further the information in the file. He kept his voice low and cool as if a little higher will cause them a leak of information.

Of course Mr Mona knew Amelia was lost in her own thoughts to hear what he was saying but he still said it anyway.He just had to get Amelia who was a burden off him.He knew she wouldn't survive even a second messing with the Raven family. He smiled sinisterly in his head. Poor thing thought she got someone to rely on. He thought.
