End of college

It was already getting to the end of the year and it was the end of the journey for final year students at the university. Amelia Robinson held tightly to her suitcase as if she was afraid to lose it .She stood lonely at the entrance of her university,one of the most prestigious in the country.

Everything felt like a dream to her. She just entered college a few years ago, and it felt like yesterday. Friends hugged each other not wanting to part ways. Looking at them the lump in her throat increased. She never had a thing like friend or anything.

Amelia, one must say was a rare piece of gem, very extraordinary. Her straightened coal dark hair rested gently on her but. She also possessed a pair of emerald doe eyes which was almost rare. She looked so innocent and cute and unconsciously seductive.

She was chased by countless guys every day, but she'll just scoff, shrug and give them the cold shoulder. They were only after her mesmerizing and extraordinary looks. She thought.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Her phone vibrated and rang in her pocket. She was pulled back to reality by the ring of her phone. It rang a few more times before she picked it up.

"Uncle, why is the driver so late?..."she asked with that angelic and innocent voice of hers. On the other end, her uncle hesitated before he spoke out.

"Amelia...your car was sent to maintenance so could you just take a taxi home?" he said with a grumpy voice which carried coldness in them and could send shivers down one's spine.

She hesitated for a bit before she hung up the phone.

She took in a deep breath and sighed...what was she even expecting?. She scolded herself inwardly. It was hard to get online taxis these days.

Uggghhh!!!! She sighed in frustration.

At the mansion of the Mona's...

"Uncle Mona I'm back!!"the sweet Amelia shouted when she got to the large hall of the Mona's. She had a smile plastered on her face which looked faker than anything she had ever seen. That's the least she could do huh! She thought to herself.

"Amelia!!!" suddenly a really sweet and tiny voice shouted with joy from behind her. The owner of the voice hurriedly descended the stairs and hugged Amelia from behind with her eyes full of joy and admiration.

Since she became an orphan, she was taken in by her uncle who treated her just like an orphan. No love...just all that she needed to see every next day. Her cousin, Bridget was the only one who actually cared about her feelings and she did everything to keep her happy.

"Amelia I missed you so much" Bridgette who was just the same age as Amelia whined. She was hell childish. Not that Amelia cared, she actually loved her that way. Amelia dropped her suitcase and wrapped her arms around Bridgette...she smiled, this time her smile was more genuine. She handed an LV shopping bag to Bridgette . The smile on their faces grew stronger that it made their cheeks ache.

Amelia knew Bridgette for one was fashionable. Bridgette's surprised exclaim could be heard all over the place...the joy she felt was so visible on her face.

It was a black limited edition fit dress adorned with diamonds which was worth millions .

"You're the best sister ever" Bridgette hugged Amelia.

Just as the two were catching up,the butler who had a grumpy face and always disliked Amelia came for her suitcase and sent it upstairs.

"Oh dear you're back..." Aunt Mona's voice hit her, and she turned in her direction to see her walking side by side with Uncle Mona. As usual the smile plastered on Aunt Mona's face could burn the grumpy face of Uncle Mona if he was a vampire.

Noticing their arrival, she bowed politely. The smile on her face has disappeared, and she looked like an obedient lamb.

"welcome back dea-..."Aunt Mona was caught off by the grumpy Uncle Mona.

"Amelia meet me in my study now"

"Okay"...she replied submissively ...
