chapter 1: The boy/grissom

Grissom was sitting in the back right corner of the classroom as thats where he always sits. the teacher was saying something but Grissom couldn't hear he never paid attention in class, he would always have his ear buds in listening to his music while looking out the window. He had always been a quiet kid ever since seven years before when he lost his best friend, no one has heard him speak since, not even his parents. his teacher Mrs. Hoagland walked up to him and pulled one of his buds out, "Grissom I asked you a question" she said Grissom took a quick glance at the board and wrote the answer down on some paper and showed it to her "very well" she said, Grissom then put his bud back in and walked out of class, he could hear his teacher and some students shouting things but he just kept going right out the door of the school

The next day at lunch some kid walked up to him Grissom recalled his name was Davin he pulled out one of his buds and listened to what he had to say Davin pulled Grissom out of his seat and pushed him against the wall

"speak" he said in an aggressive low tone "ohh my friend died when I was seven big woop kid we all know about it why don't you stop being a baby about it and speak" Davin saw the anger in Grissoms eyes but he could see his tears so he continued "no one gives a shit about your dead friend" Davin instantly regretted his words Grissom escaped Davins grasp with ease he then knocked him off his feet and said the last words Davin would ever hear "**** you bitch" Grissom quickly grabbed a fork from his lunch and quickly stabbed him through his eye Grissoms vision blurred he could only see red he looked at his bloody hands and then ran for the exit.

it had been at **least a couple weeks Grissom hadn't stopped running since he came to a sighn it read "Post Falls 1 mile" Grissom continued to run towards the town he was hungry, thirsty, and hadn't slept for weeks

he needed to go quick it wouldn't be too long before the word spread here assuming it hasn't already as Grissom reached Post Falls a newspaper stand comes into view he sees the newspapers are just being changed, he walked up to the stand and read through the newspaper on the cover it read "boy from Michigan murders child brutally stabbing him through the eye with a fork" Grissom quickly took out a match and burned the news papers as his vision blurred he started to run as he ran his ears started to ring he couldn't hear he couldn't see he fell to the ground passing out by the skate park wall

Grissom was woken it was dark but he could still see a beautiful young girl about his age she was saying something pointing at the blood on his shirt but Grissom still couldn't hear he just stared into her beautiful green eyes then his vision went black.
