Episode 1: "You Dare Touch Me Again?"
Qin Ziyan
A cold, ambitious royal general from the South. Stoic, deadly, but secretly tormented by loss.
He harbors an old grudge against the crown family — especially the arrogant prince who once humiliated his brother.

Let's zoom into the story...
Enemies meet again… But neither forgot the taste of the other’s mouth.
Private Hall – Royal War Council Chamber
Night. Wind stirs the silk drapes. Two enemies stand inches apart.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
General Qin.
You weren’t invited.
Qin Ziyan (ML)
Your men begged me to stop the northern rebellion.
I came back to find a prince sitting in my seat.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
[smirks]
That chair suits me, don’t you think?
Qin Ziyan (ML)
It suited the man you had executed.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
That was ten years ago.
Still angry over your brother’s fate?
Qin Ziyan (ML)
I buried him with that same smirk on his face.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
You haven’t changed.
Still full of rage. Still handsome when you glare.
Qin Ziyan (ML)
Don’t flirt with me, Your Highness.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
But you used to like it.
Remember?
The training hall? The bruises you left on my hips
Qin Ziyan (ML)
That was war. Not love.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
Not only that, but it felt like something more when you kissed me after.
Qin Ziyan slams him against the lacquered wall. His hand grips the prince’s throat, not tight enough to bruise, but enough to threaten.
Qin Ziyan (ML)
You dare speak of that night again?
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
You dare touch me again?
Qin Ziyan (ML)
… I should kill you.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
Then why are your fingers trembling?
A pause. The heat between them is undeniable. Their breath mingles. Ziyan’s jaw tenses. Jiuchen’s lips part—inviting, mocking.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
Or maybe you miss how I tasted.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
Then shut me up.
Ziyan grabs his face and crushes his mouth to Jiuchen’s.
Teeth clash. Tongues duel. Not only that, but it’s not a kiss. It’s a war. It tastes of salt, blood, and ten years of unsaid things.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
[panting] You’re angry.
Qin Ziyan (ML)
I hate you.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
Then why are you hard?
The kiss returns—deeper this time. Desperate. Ziyan’s hand slides under the prince’s robe, fingers skimming bare skin.
Jiuchen moans — soft, broken, triumphant.
Qin Ziyan (ML)
One time. One night. Then I forget you again.
Yan Jiuchen (MC)
Lie to me again, Ziyan.
I’ll make you beg before dawn.
