Chapter 2 : The Hair Clip

Hershien woke early to prepare for university, showering and dressing like a princess. The way she tied her dark hair complemented her simple yet elegant makeup. She carried herself with the regal air of a princess going to school. Once she was ready, she immediately went to the dining room for breakfast before heading off to university with her brother, Khyzer.

Upon arriving at the university, a murmur of whispers filled the air. There they are! Ms. Yaine is unbelievably beautiful; she looks like a princess! No, she's like a star from heaven! And Khyzer's aura is amazing, so handsome!

The whispers intensify as Yaine and Khyzer walk through the entrance. Heads turn, conversations cease, and all eyes are drawn to the striking pair. Yaine seems slightly overwhelmed by the attention, her cheeks flushing faintly, while Khyzer, ever the confident brother, seems to relish the attention, a slight smirk playing on his lips.

Khyzer bid his sister goodbye to head to his class, and she told him to call when he was on his way home later. As Hershien walked to her class, she was still surrounded by whispers of praise, not envy. This brought a smile to her face.

As she neared her classroom, Hershien was accidentally bumped by a young woman who was running. The woman's belongings scattered, but she quickly gathered them, apologized, and hurried away. Startled, Hershien stared blankly for a moment before continuing on her way. Before leaving, she noticed a hair clip the young woman had dropped and quickly put it in her pocket before going.

On that day, Hershien and her lover, Neizen Acker, were supposed to have a date. Their relationship was nearing its first anniversary, a prospect that filled the young woman with intense anticipation. After her class ended, she immediately called her sibling to inform them that she had another engagement and would be going somewhere else, so she asked her sibling to go home first.

Upon arriving at their designated meeting place, she was surprised to find Neizen absent. It was unusual, as Neizen always arrived first for their dates.

After almost two hours of waiting...

She called Neizen several times, but her girlfriend didn't answer. Frustrated, she left and decided to go to Neizen's condo. Reaching Neizen's condo, she quickly punched in the passcode. She was immediately struck by the loud music coming from the bedroom and the mess in the living room and kitchen—signs that someone else besides her girlfriend was there. A strange, unfamiliar anxiety washed over her—a feeling she'd never experienced before in their relationship. Her eyes scanned the living room, the kitchen, and then lingered on the closed bedroom door. Slowly, she approached the door and gently pressed her ear against it, trying to hear what was happening inside despite the loud music. She heard a series of moans, gasps for breath. She covered her mouth, her eyes welling up as a torrent of possibilities flooded her mind. With a slow, deliberate turn of the knob, the door swung inward. Two naked women, startled, whirled around to face her.
