Dead or alive?

(He kept running and running, as the beast chased him from behind, getting closer and closer)

(even in the face of death he can smile, but there's also a feeling of panic)

(He grab dirt while running and threw it backwards, gave him sometime to hide <4second to be exact>)

(He was somewhere on the tree, hiding from the beast view. As the beast walks, slowly and menacingly, listening to even the smallest of sounds and smell. Luckily our monkey boy didn't get caught)

(He had a genius plan! He'll throw something to somewhere and when the beast get distracted, he'll jump on him from the tree, stabbing him with a stick or banging the beast head with a rock!)

(but he had nothing around to throw, because he was on a tree so...it was a risk, but he had to do it)

(He snap off a branch and quickly jumped to the next tree *as we know he's some monkey of some sort so ye, he's good at this* the beast heard the snap where our boy was previously at, and his focus drifted to there, not knowing our man is right behind him on another tree)

(With a leap of faith, he jumped with the branch in his hand, ready to stab the back of the beast head)

(But the beast was quite smart, it heard the sound of our boy jumping off the tree and quickly moved away)

(now faced to faced, both of them stared. The eye contact never loosen, because one mistake will lead to someone's death may it be our boy, or the beast)

(with the stick still in his hand, he held it tightly ready to launched towards the beast even if he moved a little)

(but for extra luck, he bends his legs a bit and grab a stone, still not letting the eye contact go, as the atmosphere becomes more terrifying and concerning, the beast charged towards our boy and jumped, but luckily he threw the rock right at one of his eyes and stab the beast with the stick on one of its legs, tho it didn't enter deep, it was some damaged tho)

(oh but the beast was no ordinary, it didn't run away, no. it kept attacking)

(our boy just starts using his hands because he sees Nothing to use at the moment, he throws punches but of course he got scratch too, a lot, his arms, legs and nearly his face, but luckily he dodged it, but he fell...but he accidentally grabbed onto a snake, with an idea, he pulled out the snake)

(He took the snake, threw some dirt at the beast face and climb on top of the beast and used the snake to wrap it around the beast neck and chocked it)

<....told you>

(the beast trying it's best to knock him off his back, but didn't succeed, our boy grip was strong, the grip tightening even more and more, the beast died...due to suffocation)

(as the beast body lays there lifeless, he didn't want to take risk, and bang his head with a rock multiple times, after that he also lay there, tired, out of breathe)

(His heart beating like never before, even in the face of death, he was happy to feel such freedom, he never felt in his life before...but for now he needed to get stronger and so, his journey began)
