Hinata convinced Atsumu to act with him as lovers. Hoping that Kageyama wont go near him. Hinata doesn't want to put a burden to Kageyama that's why he ask him to act as lover, but the truth is, He was in pain. Hinata knows some other day he wont be able to walk again, afraid of being useless in front of Kageyama. Afraid of Kageyama being dragged down because of him.

Hearing on how Hinata bearing the pain all by himself made Kageyama cry.

'He was in pain and yet I wasn't with him and choose to leave him behind.' He thought as he cried.

"He was in the hospital. Refusing to take the operation. You are the only hope I know. Please help him." Atsumu said as he hands over the Hinata's whereabouts.

Kageyama rushed to the hospital. Finding Hinata🐟. In the thought of Hinata is suffering all along, and here is he, just being a fool and left him behind.

As he saw the room, he immediately rushed in, only to see Hinata, seating on his bed, looking outside the window, absent-minded and not able to notice his presence.

"Hinata..." Kageyama called out. Hinata immediately turning his head to him, on verge of crying.

"I knew Atsumu-san will tell you everything." Hinata mumbled and clasped his hands as he smile lightly.

"Why?" Kageyama ask out of the blue. He was out of words and don't know how to construct a single question.

"Are you asking about 'why didn't I tell you?' Or 'why did I lie?'" Hinata asked him.

"I just want to know why are you hiding this kind of serious thing." Kageyama seriously said.

"I was afraid. Can you stop me from being afraid of dragging you down with me? I just hate to see you lose everything because of me. Afraid of being such a burden to you." Hinata cried as he was saying those words. He can't think straight. He know there will be a time when Kageyama will know everything, nd he wasn't ready for that.

"You wont drag me down, I ask for it cause I wanna be with you!" Kageyama bursted out as he goes neat Hinata's bed.

"I'm sorry, Kageyama. I hurt you the last time we talk and yet here I am, being hopeless in front of you." Hinata sobs and covers his face. Afraid of Kageyama seeing him in that state.

"Share your pain with me. I will bear it all in other to be with you. Please, tell me everything. I will be with you and I will still choose you, cause I love you." Kageyama coped up Hinata's face as he wipe his tears.

"I really am sorry. This wont be such a waste of time of you. I'm sorry." Hinata said between his cries and Kageyama hug him.

"Don't worry. I am here now. I will be with you 'till the end, I promise you." Kageyama said as he kiss Hinata's forehead, comforting him and assuring everything will be alright.

They didn't notice the guy, leaning on the door, eavesdropping everything they talk about, was there, standing and happy that everything goes well.

"Be happy now, Shoyo." Atsumu said as he walks away, leaving the two behind.

Kageyama convince Hinata to take the operation. As the weeks goes by, Kageyama was with him through all his way. The day of his operation end.

The operations was failed. Hinata can't use his leg anymore. But Kageyama was still there, supporting him after all those struggles.

"Aren't you tired?" Hinata asked him. Kageyama was carrying him at his back.

"Nope. I wont get tired of doing such things for you." Kageyama said with a smile.

"Thank you." Hinata said as he clings tightly.

"You are more than welcome, Hinata." He said as he lays him into the chair.

"I love you, Kageyama." Hinata said as he smiled lightly making Kageyama cried.

What can he ask for? He got Hinata now. Unable to stand and play together doesn't mind him at all. All he knows is that they are together. And he will always be with him through all the burdens and struggles.

"I love you too, boke." He chuckled.
