It's Male lead, Kim Taehyung. A 30 years old bachelor and a famous businessman.
He had a son(adopted, 18 years old), whom he loved so much.
But one day, his son got sick. He hired a caretaker for his son.
The caretaker was a sweet girl about 22 years old. Her father was a gambler and alcoholic, who died leaving her nothing but debt. And, to pay her father's debt, he agreed to care for Taehyung's son.
Because of her sweet nature, she soon become everyone's favorite in house, including Taehyung.
Taehyung started, showing his possessive side.
He forced the girl to stay by his side. He even restricted her freedom and dropped her out of college.
The adopted son thought of the girl as a threat to himself, because of Taehyung's growing possessiveness.
He thought, if the girl married his father and had a family of himself, he'd(son) be deprived of his rights to buisness and property.
So, the son decided to scheme against the girl, trying to make his father believe that girl is only after his money.
Taehyung being the crazy one, decided to keep her with himself using money. He even started despising his son.
Later, the son took the girl to rooftop and decided to push her off.
To his bad luck, Taehyung reached there in time.
In his attempt to save the girl, the adopted son accidentally fall down the building and died.
The girl was devastated for few days, and later married Taehyung. Both lived happily ever after ~
