I got out of bed and looked into Matthew's eyes before leaving his house and went home feeling special with that golden necklace around my neck.

I felt like Matthew was hugging me, you know?

I got home and got ready to meet my friends, Madison and Paige, to tell them the news about my new boyfriend.

I was eager to share this happiness with them.

When we finally got together, I excitedly made the announcement.

I waited for their reaction, but instead of congratulations, Madison said something cutting: But you're a drug addict, how can he like you?

I was shocked by her comment and Harper quickly intervened: Madison, that wasn't nice. You don't have to be rude.

I was hurt by their attitude and decided not to subject myself to that kind of negativity.

I replied: You're just being jealous. If you don't know how to appreciate my happiness, you don't need to be here.

I left feeling a mix of sadness and anger. I went home, where I took refuge in my joints.

 The smoke that hung in the air seemed to welcome me, making me forget about my problems and the harsh words of my friends.

While I was immersed in this whirlwind of emotions, I saw a group of girls who seemed to be really cool, and I joined them.

They were also smoking joints and introduced themselves to me as Nicole and Julia.

 Nicole said: Hey, do you want to go out with us? We're going to a party at a really cool nightclub.

Julia smiled and replied: It'll be fun, come with us!

I said yes and told them my name is Paige.

 We went to that club, the place was really lively with loud electronic music and neon smoke everywhere.

I started drinking and letting loose, but I was upset and wanted to have more fun.

Then a man came up to me and said:

I'm Andrew, do you want to dance with me, hottie?

I said: No, thanks. I have a boyfriend.

But he came closer, so I grabbed a glass bottle and broke it over his head, making him angry.

Julia and Nicole laughed at the situation and pulled me to dance, making me forget about my problems for a moment.

I let myself be carried away by the music and the energy of that night, enjoying every moment with my new friends.

Halfway through the party, a group of guys approached us, offering us more drinks and inviting us to a VIP area.

I hesitated, but Julia and Nicole convinced me to go with them.

There, the music was even louder, the lights flashed frantically, and the atmosphere was pure adrenaline.

I was having fun, although I still felt a lump in my chest from the arguments with my friends earlier.

But suddenly Andrew appeared again, visibly angry about the incident with the broken bottle. He approached me with a threatening look and I felt uncomfortable.

Julia noticed the situation and pulled me away, telling me it was time to leave.

But Andrew didn't take it so easily, he started screaming and following us around the club.

I was scared, but Julia and Nicole kept me calm, guiding us to the exit.

When we got outside, Andrew was there, blocking our way. He seemed even more out of control and, before we could do anything, he advanced towards us.

It was then that a security guard against the club appeared and restrained him, allowing us to escape from there as quickly as possible.

We ran through the city streets, breathless and scared, until we finally reached a safe place.
