Paige narrating: - My mother thinks I'm a whore, simply because I don't dress properly, but she's right.

I really am, she's the one who made me this way.

Amelia: Where are you going dressed like that, you are a whore!

Paige: Thank you very much mom, that was a compliment to me! Byeee!

Paige's thoughts:

"I still remember when my father abandoned me because he was ashamed of my drug addiction. That painful memory always affects me deeply, even though I try to remain strong and confident".

A lone tear escaped my eyes as I thought about this, mingling with the cigarette smoke.

Madison noticed my change in mood and came closer to me, putting her arm around my shoulders to comfort me.

My friend Harper also joined in the group hug, showing her support for Madison and me. The three of us stayed together, united by the bond of friendship that united us.

As the night went on, my friends and I had more and more fun, dancing nonstop and laughing at inside jokes. Madison suggested that we go to the dance floor, where we could let loose even more.

The houses and trees took on magical shapes, and the air was filled with a sweet, intoxicating scent.
