Chapter 04

Kate woke up early in the morning and did her morning routine. She made breakfast with the help of Becky. Also had breakfast together. Both went to wash dishes but Becky got a call. " Hello sir why did u call me " Becky asked. " U didn't handover the contract of the Black company " The main branch manager said through the phone. " Sorry I will come to the company in 30 minutes with the contract " Becky said. After hearing the reply manager hang up the phone. " Kate I am sorry u have to wait for an hour I have to go to the company now " Becky said. " No problem u go I will go for a walk till u come " Kate said. Becky left to the office while Kate went out for a walk. While taking a walk she saw a park where small children are playing on the other side of the road.

She excited to there saw she didn't watch carefully before crossing and she was going to hit by a truck but someone pulled her. " Ah " Kate could speak due to the shock. " Is this how u cross the road if I wasn't here u will die " The man said in an angry voice. " Thanks for saving me I will be more careful " Kate said in a crying voice.

" Hey don't cry I just want to advise u plz don't Ok " The said as he saw tears in Kate's eyes. " I won't " Kate said. " But there are still tears " He said while wiping her tears. " I owe u for saving me " Kate said. " For now buy me a coffee to repay me " The man said. " It's a good idea but I am new here I don't where the coffee shop is " Kate said. " I know let's go " The said while leading to the coffee shop. The entered the coffee shop, waiter came and took their order.

" Tell me about u why u came here where do u came here from " The man asked. " So many questions ok I am Kate from country A and came here after divorcing and currently finding a job " Kate said. " U don't look that old to marry " The said. " It was my grandfather's wish but it was only a contract marriage and my ex husband accused me that I kill his and my stepsister's unborn child " Kate said sadly. " I am sorry for asking u about this " The man said. " It's ok now tell me about u " Kate said. " I am Aiden single from country A and working in Black company " Aiden said. " So u came here for work and parents live in country A " Kate asked. " Yes but I am going back in 1or 2 year " Aiden answered. While they were chatting waiter came and served the order. They chatted while having their coffee but Kate's phone started to rang. " Hello Becky " Kate answered the phone. " Where are u did get lost " Becky asked. " No no that's not I will come quickly don't worry " Kate said. " Then be quick bye " Becky said. She also said bye and hang up. " I think it's ur friend looking for u " Aiden said. " Yes I have to go now let's see each other sometime if we are friends now " Kate said. " For sure let's exchange phone numbers " Aiden said.

They both exchanged numbers after that kate left the coffee shop.
