Chapter 1

The school’s bell ring echo throughout the hall, voices and footsteps of students surround me. I turn the locker knob to the combo in my head. 13,39,0. As I push the lock open, I quickly put my binder into the locker. For being 5’4, you would think school would give you the taller locker but unfortunately I was not so lucky.

Sam came as I rise, “Ready to go.”she asked. “Sure” We walk against the crowd of people leaving school.

*“So guess what,” I look at her, her eye sparkle with joy. She was excited to tell me, before I can open to ask she replied “Zack from 10th grade ask me if I was going to Leo party?And you won’t believe it. He ask me out” She giggle. I turn to her face “Isn’t that tonight?” Kim came up to my left “Did you hear about Leo’s party,” she look more excited then I did “we have to go.” My brain began to become alerted “Isn’t that party for high schoolers only? I thought we weren’t allowed.” Sam replied “Well, yes usually but this is different” *Kim nodded “she right.”

We soon walked out to the school car pool. Kim look up from her text “My sister can drive us to the party when she heads to work.” I walked ahead forward a little and turn my head “What about our sleepover tonight, Sam, I promise mom that I would be at your house all this weekend.” Sam step up and put her arm on me “Don’t worry, we go to Kim house, Kim’s sister take us and after we head to my house.” Kim walk up her arm on me “your parent won’t even know.” I smile “lets go.”

5 hours later

Kim’s sister pull up to the building, Her red hair was up in an ponytail, she look up to the view room mirror. Adjusting her makeup, “ You guys have fun.” She quickly drives away in her red Neisse.

Stepping out, I hear the loud music and lights going on. People stood on the steps of the building. I felt queasy, as we walked up the steps. The music was loud and people’s eyes look bloodshot and red. Some stander, other were entergetic.

Sam walked into the building, she soon was greeted by Zack and some other guys. “Glad you girls can make it,” Zack look at Sam, she was wearing an dark blue blouse and white skirt. “You look hot, Sam.” Sam start to blushed.

Leo walk up with three red cups in hand, He smile “So do you Kim,” Kim blushed. He hand a cup to Sam “Here take this” He started to hand them out. I smell a brisket wooden scent. I pull my nose to Kim cup as she take a sip. I tilt my head a little “What is that?” Sam replied “It’s beer, Liz” Leo has come back, he had two more cups in hand. “Here take one.” She handed me a cup. I take the cup, it feel heavy in my hands. My though tell me it’s wrong. I left there in my grip, as I listened to Sam and Kim talk to the other.

They soon started to have fun, Sam was playing with Zack at the billboard pool. Meanwhile Kim was kissing Leo on the couch. Soon People start to push, and yell past me. I stood in the corner. As the music got louder, my head started to hurt. I felt out of place, this was wrong. ‘I don’t belong here’ I thought. ‘I want to go home’ I went outside, I sigh. I remember it near the weekend. Mom and Dad would be at the weekend home with the other. I took out my phone. The gps put me a few mile away. I look behind me. Sam and Kim were having a blast and mostly wouldn’t be able to make it home. I didn’t want to spill there fun. I quickly turn on the side walk and walk home.

30 minutes later

A sudden cold breeze pass into the winter’s night. Darkness was all that I could see except for a couple poorly dim streetlights and the light of the full moon shined up above in the sky.

I felt a sudden chill crawled down my spine as I look forward at the dark alley, my instinct told me to turn back; to take the long way home. Sure it only add 30 minutes to my walk; I knew that it was probably safer then the short cut. “But it’s the quickest way home” I remind myself. I took an an deep breath in and sigh. I knew that I was right. However that didn’t help the feel that something bad was about to happen. All I want to do was get home. The quicker I get home the better. I step forward into the ally, taking my last breath of courage.

As I walk in, silence filled the space; leaving to my thoughts. “Mom going to kill me.” I mutters. The full moon shine bright above bringing a small light into the ally. It reflect an image of the moon into a small puddle ahead.

Suddenly a noise came from behind me . I turn towards the noise, chills and goosebumps form on my arms. I start to shiver and tremble. I quickly turn around, but it was all ready to late.

Coldness begin to surround me. A great flash of pain emerged on my wrist. Soon heat and pain surged into my body. Dark spots begin to show in vision. Blurring my vision, tears flutter down my eye; falling to the cold concrete ground. I begin to feel the shift as I was laid down on the ground, I slowly drift into the darkness. Consume by pain and darkness, going into the abysses. As what ever that attack me consume me.

Hi this the author sorry about not updating last year but I had a hard time writing with family emergency, college, and corona. So now I getting to it I hope to be able to write this Friday and maybe give you guy an 3 chapter update after I will update every Friday.
