"YOU HAVE ME"

"I know I'm the last person you would want to share your secrets with, ignoring the fact that we just met yesterday." Bingo said as he stood behind Boss, whose forehead was rested on the door -- his eyes closed.

"But, many people say I'm easy to talk to, and I'm a good listener and a good comforter and I swear I won't tell a soul- okay, I'll stop rambling."

Boss let out a breathy chuckle, then gulped down the lump in his throat -- afraid that he might break down in front of Bingo.

"You don't have to hide it, Hia. I can see your pain and sadness." Bingo said, as usual, he felt everyone's pain, torment and sadness -- ignoring his.

"It didn't matter at first. I didn't give a f*ck because I believed I was somehow being helpful." Boss' clenched fist collided with the door, startling Bingo.

"Come sit." Bingo said after recovering from Boss' sudden temper.

When Boss didn't make a move to leave the spot behind the door, Bingo went and held him by the hand -- turning him around.

To his surprise, Boss was crying. Tears freely flowed down his pink cheeks -- his chest had tightened and all the pain he had kept inside had finally leaked out of his eyes -- involuntarily.

"I am sorry you have to see all-" Bingo interrupted.

"Crying is not a sign of weakness, Hia -- rather, it shows how much you have endured and how strong you were to have passed through all the hardships you have experienced." Bingo let Boss lay his head on his lap after they sat on the comfortable black couch.

"You don't have to tell me what you have been through." Bingo ran his fingers in Boss' hair, unknowingly calming him.

"I'm sinking into darkness and I can't help but find comfort in the pain, because that's what I'm used to. Pleasing my mother was everything to me when Dad died. I believed she was somehow lonely, sad, pained... but I was so wrong. Not only did she not love the man I called Dad, she was actually cheating on him with his best friend." Boss clenched his jaw, lifting his head off Bingo's lap.

"I hate that woma-" Once again, Bingo interrupted.

"Let go of that anger Hia, it will only cause you more pain. I know that you are hurting, and you feel resentment towards your mother... no matter what she did, she is still your mother." Bingo held Boss' hand.

"I am sure your Dad is looking down at you, with a smile on his face -- saying that he is proud of the man you are today. You cannot please everyone around you, try to please yourself first before others and remember... you are never alone." Bingo smiled at Boss.

"You have me." Those words were all that Boss needed, and for the first time after his father's death, he felt warmth.

.

Hia means older brother, it is a very intimate word (Btw, Even married woman can use it on their husbands).

It can also mean f*ck, depending on how you pronounce it😌.

I'll just leave it at that...

I hope this chap is intimate enough😊.

Bai bai👋🏼🖤!
