*Ava's POV*
I drove off feeling satisfied after having taken revenge, facing a bully for the first time had ignited this sort of burning desire in my heart, such feelings, I could only admire from a distance... seeing people stand up against a bully was an impossible thing for me to achieve. Yeah, most people called me a "pushover " in which I was, but that era is over.
I drove to a stop noticing the traffic up ahead. "Like really? Of all things, what is worse than being stuck in traffic on a hot summer day with my life on countdown"; I thought to myself, well, it was more like my career but it's still the same.
Five minutes into traffic and the lights still hasn't turned green, it was a scorching 38 degrees out there and my phone wouldn't stop buzzing too.
I turned off my phone, not wanting to hear any nagging from anyone for what I did because they very well deserved it. I rolled down my car's window, trying to let some fresh air get in as my thoughts seemingly wondered elsewhere, a loud honk from behind scared me bringing me back into reality and accidentally pressing the gas paddle, driving straight into the car ahead.
"Sh*t"; I mouthed, staring paralyzed with shock and disbelief, I could not wrap my head around what had happened, still sitting in my car, anxiety took over. I was seated anxiously in my car with sweat dripping down my face, I had rammed my car into a Rolls Royce! I freaking Rolls Royce of all cars..."why-must-my-fate-be-this-twisted"; I said to myself bashing my head against the steering wheel, sighing I got out of my car to met the driver.
"Sir, I'm so sorry...the driver behind me honked his car at me making me ram mine into yours and the lights hadn't even turned green yet! It really wasn't my fault, please understand me"; I rumbled on hearing a crack in voice, I was fighting so hard to hold back my tears, trembling from fear watching as he examined the dent in his car.
As I continued to watch him, fear took over my body, making my stomach whirl from anxiety...feeling lightheaded, I leaned against my car and watch him return to the passengers seat speaking to someone who seemed to be the real owner of the car seeing the amount of respect he was showing.
As time passed on, I couldn't simply stand still and watch doing nothing. I attempted walking over but froze instantly from shock seeing the person who just got down from the car.
"E-Elias?"
"Huh? Ava?"; he said my name with a frown. Of all people, it just had to be him, my ****
