CHAPTER 1

King Carlous Ravinus stood on the balcony, sipping his coffee and gazing at the stars. The dim light above him shone on his crown, highlighting the precious jewel. He looked tired, as if the weight of ruling the kingdom was taking its toll.

The night air carried the whispers of his people, but the king's mind was elsewhere. He seemed lost in thought, consumed by the demands of his position. As he stood there, the silence was broken by the soft clink of his cup.

The king's eyes focused on the cup, and for a moment, he forgot about his crown. He looked up at the stars again, and his thoughts wandered to the vast world beyond his kingdom.

The king's attention snapped back to the palace grounds as he heard the caretakers' shouts. His gaze fell upon the rose garden, where the fragrance of the flowers filled the air, sweet and overpowering. But his attention was quickly diverted by a commotion.

A figure clad in a black gown came sprinting across the garden, pursued by the palace security guards. The king's eyes widened as the figure effortlessly jumped over the palace wall, leaving the guards behind, cursing in frustration.

The king's curiosity was sparked. Who was this mysterious figure, and what was that person doing in the palace? He leaned forward, his eyes fixed on the spot where the figure had disappeared into the night.

It was another day.The sun shone brightly, making the streets hot and sweltering. A warm wind blew, making it feel even hotter. But Allegra Jess was helping to cool people down by giving out cold drinks. Her brother Lian Jess was inside their shop, selling nice-smelling perfumes. The fragrances from the shop made the hot air feel a little better.

As Allegra handed out the last of the cold drinks, a grateful customer approached her. "Thank you so much for these refreshing drinks!" they said. Allegra smiled and nodded, happy to have helped.

Meanwhile, Lian was busy helping a customer choose a perfume. "This one is our best seller," he said, holding up a bottle. "It has notes of rose and lavender."

The customer sniffed the perfume and smiled. "I love it!" she said. "I'll take it."

As the customer price and left the shop. Lian turned and he saw her sister coming towards him with the lunch.Lian's face lit up as Allegra approached with the lunch. "I love my meal when it's specially made by my younger sister," he said, his eyes shining with appreciation. Allegra's cheeks flushed slightly as she smiled, "For you, I can take this responsibility for my whole lifetime," she replied, her voice filled with affection. Lian chuckled, feeling grateful for his sister's love and care.

The guards swung open the grand doors, and Ravinus strode into the court, his presence commanding attention. The courtiers rose from their seats, bowing in unison, "My Majesty." One of them spoke up, his voice filled with a mix of respect and trepidation. Ravinus's seneschal stood beside him, a steady gaze fixed on the king.

Ravinus's eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke, "There is a problem which people of the kingdom are facing," the courtier said hesitantly. Ravinus's voice took on a tone of expectation, "What's that?" he asked, his words dripping with an air of authority, as if he already knew the weight of what was to come.

"There is a theif who stole in the darkness i tried to findout but there is no use he is so clever he leaves no sign of his crimes"he replied

Ravinus's expression turned thoughtful, intrigued by the courtier's words. "A thief, you say? One who operates in the shadows, leaving no trail?" He leaned forward slightly, his interest piqued. "Tell me, what exactly has been stolen? And how long has this been going on?" His voice was calm, but a hint of annoyance crept into his tone, as if the idea of a clever thief outsmarting his kingdom's security was a personal affront.

"Its been a month my majesty spoke the courtries.he stole from the most respectful person of our kingdom he stole like gold,jewels,most expensive painting"he spoke

Ravinus's eyes widened slightly, his interest turning to concern. "The most respected person in our kingdom, you say? Who is that?" he asked, his voice measured.

The courtier swallowed hard before answering, "It was Lord Arin, my lord. The thief stole a small fortune in gold, jewels, and a priceless painting from his estate."

Ravinus's expression darkened, his mind racing with the implications. Lord Arin was a prominent figure in the kingdom, and the theft from his estate was a serious matter. "I want the thief caught and brought to justice," he said, his voice firm and commanding.

"But we tried alot my majesty"he insisted because he was trying to findout from the one day

Ravinus's expression remained resolute. "I don't care what it takes, I want results. Assign your best men to the case and find me this thief. I want to know who's behind this and why they're targeting our nobles."

The courtier nodded hastily, "Yes, my lord. We'll increase the guard presence and re-question the witnesses. We'll leave no stone unturned."

Ravinus's gaze lingered on the courtier, ensuring his determination was understood. "See that you do."

"Yes my majesty"his word were almost like a whisper

"Leave" Ravinus spoke and everyone left the room

The courtiers and guards bowed and filed out of the room, leaving Ravinus alone with his thoughts. The king's eyes gazed out the window, his mind preoccupied with the mystery of the thief. He sat down on his throne, deep in thought, trying to piece together the puzzle.

The silence in the room was palpable, broken only by the soft creaking of the old wooden throne as Ravinus shifted his weight. His eyes remained fixed on some distant point, his mind working overtime to unravel the mystery.
