...Theo’s heart pounded as the memories flooded in, too vivid and too real. Shadows flickered in the corners of the ancient library, and the voice — the deep, smooth voice that had called his name — sent a chill down his spine....
...He stumbled back a step, his breath ragged....
Thoe: “No… no, this can’t be real no I don't want to die,” *through running in mind*
...Theo stammered, turning to flee down the narrow aisle of books. But before he could take more than a few steps, Abyzou moved with preternatural speed, stepping in front of him....
...Theo’s eyes widened, and he froze, back pressed against the cold, rough wall. Abyzou loomed over him, tall and unearthly, his silhouette flickering in the dim, crimson light of the book still open on the lectern....
Abyzou : “Don’t be afraid, Theo,” , his voice soft — almost tender.
But Theo’s pulse was hammering in his ears.
Theo : “What are you?” he demanded, his voice shaking. “A ghost? A demon? ”
...Abyzou tilted his head, a faint smile curving his lips....
Abyzou : “I am neither dead nor alive in the way you understand,” he said calmly. “I am the king of shadows , king of hell— and I was waiting for you so long.”
...Theo swallowed, his back pressing harder against the stone as if he could disappear...
...into it....
Theo : “ What do you mean? how do you know my name? please don't kill me.,” he insisted, his voice breaking.
...Abyzou’s eyes softened, their glow like embers in the darkness. Slowly, he lifted his hand, reaching out with careful deliberation. Theo flinched as Abyzou’s fingertips brushed his cheek, the touch cold and electric....
...Theo’s breath quickened, and he took a shaky step back. The room seemed to tilt around him, shadows crawling along the walls....
Theo : “I don’t understand,” . “This… this can’t be real, maybe this is only a nightmare but feel so real maybe it's hallucination .".. *running through in mind*
...But Abyzou didn’t fade. He stepped closer, his presence solid and real....
Abyzou : “I am not a ghost, Theo,” he said, his voice a low murmur. “I am as real as the breath in your lungs, the fire in your veins. The book has called us back together.
...Theo’s pulse thundered in his ears....
Theo : “ What do you mean ? What together? I'm just a normal person..? maybe you misunderstood.. " *his voice tight with fear*
...Abyzou’s eyes softened even more....
...But Theo could only stare at him, fear and wonder warring in his heart....
...Abyzou reached out once more, his fingers brushing Theo’s cheek like a promise....
Abyzou : “You don’t have to scared of me,” he said quietly. “You only have to remember.”
Abyzou : “ you have always been the one,” he said simply. “In every life, in every story, it has always been you.”
...Theo flinched from the touch, his mind spinning. The library seemed to pulse around them, the shadows shifting and whispering in the corners. He felt like he was standing on the edge of a dream — or a nightmare....
...The library seemed to blur around them, the crackling of the book’s flames and the soft murmur of shadows filling the air. And in that moment, Theo realized he had no choice but to listen — to face the truth that Abyzou’s touch and the ancient book had awakened......
