Kiyomi, an 18-year-old New Yorker, is shy, but her deep, dark secret is soon revealed. She’s unaware of it yet, but someone is coming her way who will change her life forever.
She’s an only child, and her father passed away when she was 7. She lives alone because her mother preferred a man over her.
Kiyomi has never truly had any friends. She has always kept to herself because of the fear of abandonment. She has lived in New York City her entire life.
In the year 2016, she hopes this year she might find some friends or maybe even something more.
